Nice to meet you.

I am rather new to playing card collecting and have about 80 decks or so. Initially, I wanted my first post to be a collection post, but I just haven't gotten round to doing so. Because life, and procrastination. Well, I will get around to that soon, though I have nothing rare or whatnot. My passion lies in design in general, and the endless variety and creativity to be found in a simple 2.5"x3.5" space is profoundly intriguing. I also like collecting things that come in a series or set. ( $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$)

I'm from hot and humid Singapore, so any tips on proper card storage?

Hello Gerald, welcome to UC

I live in Canada, so not exactly hot, but we do get humid sometimes here on the coast. I keep my cards low to the floor since the temperature remains most constant there. Temperature extremes and changes do the most damage. Silica packs spread throughout the drawers I store them in seem to work well. Also store them mostly flat rather than on their sides or ends, so gravity works against warping. Hope that's helpful.
