Re: Upcoming deck from Giovanni on KS - Omnia
Hi guys,
I think we have an official date. I'm posting here first, so we may discuss a little if you prefer a different hour of the day (I can't please anyone, but I'll try).
At the moment, I am thinking to launch tuesday 2th of june, 7AM in NYC (and 13pm in Italy, my time). I hope it's good for everyone.
Omnia campaign will have a lot of early birds tiers, and some of them will be really valuable in my opinion. Some early birds does include "Omnia Suprema" deck.
Here is a pic of the Omnia Suprema with the new Queen of Diamonds and finally the male joker of Omnia Oscura - Destiny (I have 5 other Jokers, all designed from scratches)

Eastern Time should be fine with 7AM. The rest of USA might have a problem.
Might not be too shabby for the rest of the world either.

12pm EST is usually a good launch time. It will be approx. 6-7pm in most European countries.

Like the way the "Joker" font is smaller. To many times, I see the "J" font is the same size as the Jack/Knave. Let's see your other Joker?

Re: Giovanni (ThirdWay Industries) on KS 2-June - Omnia
Eheh guys, I fee really guilty to make someone wake up in the dead of night to get my early birds.
I did a lot of early birds to be sure that everyone have the chance to get one the first day, regardless of which country they live in.
The really "limited" tiers (10 slots) will be the small ones (that does not include Omnia Suprema) and the most expensive ones, that I think have the most value (and the only chance to double or triple Omnia Suprema deck).
I'll reveal all the early birds here in the next days, so you can be prepared.

Re: Giovanni (ThirdWay Industries) on KS 2-June - Omnia
I have always thought that the best way to make the early bird truly effective would be to set up your early bird tiers with no actual limit on the number of backers (to start) and state in the tier that after 12 hours, the EB tiers would be locked down (ie, the limit would be set to the number of backers at that tier). Obviously, the pricing of the EB tier should still be affordable to the project creator, but I think this approach could ramp up initial participation, and that might, in turn, carry through to more momentum down the line.
I don't know. What do y'all think?

Re: Giovanni (ThirdWay Industries) on KS 2-June - Omnia
I do not think that would work as the rare EB decks would become not rare. Let's assume there are 500 of the limited deck but in the first 12 hours 2000 people pledge then the deck numbers are all shot. If you are talking regular decks EB, then you might run the risk that it would not be beneficial for the seller and he would probably inflate his starting EB price to cover for that. I think in the end an EB pledge should be limited as that always represent what the creator is willing to let go at that price
Bottom line Allan.. get your lazy behind up at 4am and pledge for an EB hehehehehe. Plus you know you don't sleep anyway so i should not be a problem for you

Re: Giovanni (ThirdWay Industries) on KS 2-June - Omnia
Hi there!
First of all, I want to confirm the date - 2 of June, 7AM NYC Time, Omnia will be live. Save the date
Because this is an official, pompous announcement, I think my Suprema Queen of Hearts should be revealed for the occasion.
Some other informations (something alreay published, but I prefer repeat them) :
- There will be 3 versions of Omnia: Omnia Oscura (unlimited), Omnia Suprema (limited, only 500 decks) and Omnia Illumina
- Omnia Suprema will be included in rewards with 2 or more "unlimited" decks (Omnia Oscura or, if unlocked, Oscura + Illumina)
- There are rewards with 2 Omnia Suprema (however no more than 2 Suprema per Backer)
- All the decks are different: backs, tuck boxes and even faces. Jokers and aces are re-designed from scratches. Yes, all the courts are different.
- A lot of foil and metallic inks
- Queens are sexy :p
- There are A LOT of early birds and limited tiers, some very valuable and limited
A little update on Tuck Boxes (they have the name under "Omnia" now) I'm really excited, btw.

Usually, the big embellished Spade is in the center of the card. It seems the modern trend is for all the Aces are big and embellished. I'm guessing his other aces are small and centered.

Re: Giovanni (ThirdWay Industries) on KS 2-June - Omnia
Hello guys!
I took a little vacation after the big launch
Now I'm back, ready to launch Omnia tomorrow. As promised, a little sneak peek of the rewards for my favourite forum of playing cards.
I'm posting this only here and on my newsletter
The "normal" decks (Omnia Oscura and Illumina) will have same price structure of Delirium. A single deck will costs $13 (domestic shipping included) and the price will decrease for multiple purchases (less than $10 per deck if you buy a brick).
The rewards will be automatically splitted if Illumina is unlocked. There are some early birds on x2 tier and brick.
Omina Suprema comes only in tiers who includes at least two regular decks:
- 2 "normal" decks +1 Omnia Suprema - 47$
- 4 "normal" decks + 2 Omnia Suprema - 94$
- 10 "normal" decks + 2 Omnia Suprema (Suprema Brick) - 144$
IMPORTANT - Those are the BASIC tiers. EVERY limited tier have an Early Bird counterpart, that is, of course, cheaper. For example, Omnia Suprema Brick is 130 instead of 144
Now, a little sneak peek of Omnia Illumina female Joker, Lady Fortuna. Wish me her, lol. See you tomorrow!
