Madison Revolvers?

Unread post by jerichoholic »

I've seen Madison teasing this on his Facebook and I recall hearing about it several months ago, he also referred to it in one pic as Old but keeps posting pics of it. Hopefully it isn't actually going to be a new deck as it does use the old logo which him and Ellusionist said would not be used again, then again Ellusionist are liars so it wouldn't surprise me. He also teased something that was 6 months in preparation, whatever it is.

Maybe he could write a book on how to tell his decks apart.

Agreed, there are so many 'madisons' and some are bordered and non-bordered with the same run.

I don't really care if he releases these or not, I'm definitely not getting them. The only Madison Decks I really like are the Rounders. This one, the Kings and the Dealers just look... meh...

I got a brick of the originals and haven't seen anything IMO that is as good since. You gotta be a fan boy to keep buying this shit.

By originals you mean the black rounders or the theory11 Players? I have black and brown rounders, but I didn't get the red and blue ones because of the price tag. I also have one deck of green dealers but I don't really like those.

I don't really mind Daniel Madison producing all these decks that all kind of look similar and I don't mind him doing all the recolors he's been doing until now. I don't like this deck because of its design, not because it's similar to his old decks. If the design was good (in my opinion), then I would buy it, even if it looks similar to his older decks. But since it isn't (in my opinion), I'll pass on these.

Mirror, yes, the Players. Still think it's the classiest of the bunch. Sweet tuck and cool fade back. If they'd have reproduced it in variants such as a gold or black tuck version I'da bought in.

It was in the other e-is-for-egregious thread yesterday:

I can wait. Forever.

Another artificial rarity, previously worth $$ if you had them. Sounds like T11 and MailChimp decks, but fortunately I showed how to tell the OG edition from the reprint. I wonder if E did the same? Who has an OG Revolvers deck?

How many do you want for ate ate-e-ate? Wait, only 52 per day (yeah, right, but you can get 24 at a time?).

I don't mind owning these for $8.88 a deck, definitely nothing more than $10. Was able to pick up 2 decks from their site before 12 EST (system glitch?).

You're telling me that this deck costs close to $10? It looks worse than some decks I've seen at the dollar store and one could have layed out and finalized its design during a commercial break and still have had time leftover to get their hot pockets from the microwave. Seriously the only thing I'd like to add these to my collection for is to use as practice for throwing cards and even then I'd prefer to just use some riderbacks.

And yet somehow Madison is laughing his way to the bank, if they allow him in after he "robbed" them during the release of his previous deck. *SMH*

It's the same print-run.They've had them for about a year, just not publicly released until now.
Yes, I might be the guy you remember from that thing at that place way back when.

Just recieved my Madison Revolvers . I was a little big disappointed because the deck comes with no jokers. Granted, I got it for the clor of the back and I like the Ace of Diamonds but outside of that, and the missing jokers, the hype isn't worth it for these. Granted, if you a magician, I can see the appeal. Alot of gimmicks are built into this deck but for my needs, it's a bit of a let down.

NO JOKERS? :(
That's upsetting. :x
Very upsetting in fact.

Even that abomination that is Sleepers had a couple Jokers, eye ball thing cards.
TL:DR It's completely up to you.
We can still be friends.

They have a couple of plain gaff cards (one with a card reveal) and a Ace front/King Back card. Definitely a magicians deck. I was very disappointed when I saw there were no jokers. Also, the Ace of Spades is very plain with the special treatment reserved for the Ace of Diamonds.
