I'm usually not a fan of gold, think it's overplayed and gaudy in most circumstances but it works here. In my worst Jim Carrey impersonation, "I like it a lot!"
I like the red shade used on one of the back designs, but I'm not too fond of the box's color scheme to say the least. Gold on green like that, and then two red shades. It doesn't match in my eyes but too each his own.
Yes, I might be the guy you remember from that thing at that place way back when.

I like these better than the originals. But like most said, metalic inks would have been better. I might be in a minority here but I'm not a huge fan of all the recolors GW does. This one looks nice but in general, not owning any of their decks will not cause me to lose any sleep.

I agree. But for me, Its like owning a version of a typical style that others may have not seen. And USUALLY I dig the new color scheme better than the original. Like these.
Also Someone mentioned the tuckbox. I would rather see them do like they were gonna do with Brimstone reprint. Accents look so much better than just SOLID gold.
I like these. I've always liked the leaf backs. While I think red/silver green/gold would be better than both being gold, this recolor is pretty festive and tasteful.
TL:DR It's completely up to you. We can still be friends. I actually like playing cards. We live in interesting times.
Like all the other GW decks, these just do nothing for me. I'm holding out hope that one of these days one of their decks will "speak" to me. It is interesting how sometimes it's just the intangibles that do it.
Firstly, I do quite like these - but I've always thought that leaf backs aren't bad - considering they're fairly 'classic' that statement is unlikely to surprise anyone.
However, I think I'm pretty much done with GW's Kickstarters - not because I don't like them, because on average I do (there are exceptions of course) - the real issue is that it's much easier to wait and buy them directly from GW at a time of my choosing (when funds are more free) and consolidate the shipping with other decks I've otherwise missed.
Until I miss a really great deck from them because they sold so well they aren't available on their online presence, I think I'll skip them.

I've been doing the same thing, especially with CPC. Pledge every here and there but yeah, I'll just wait for to get them on their site.

I've never really put an intelligent thought to this. But you might be on to something. I might need to do that since their retail store is so close. I guess I just fear that I might "miss out" if I don't get it first. Feel me?
Regarding pricing and KS- In our upcoming projects, we are completely re-doing our pricing structure. Beginning with Ultimate Universe, you will be seeing a significant price drop in decks on our KS projects. We are also cutting out the Pre-sale option (the ability to get in on a missed project after funding but before normal retail) on our website all together. Then when the decks print and go to retail finally, you will see that number jump back up to it's normal, higher price.
