I also like the 1st concept courts more than the others. Spot cards look nice, indices should be a bit closer to the edge though.

No back design and partial pics of the box, not much to go on there.

Well, I'll be different... and besides it's true... i like the final King design better than the "1st concept".

Concept is too close to a simple recoloring for me.

I'm liking this a lot. :D

As for the back, we get a peek at the back of the box above... and it's *usually* a pretty safe bet that this is what the back of the cards looks like. From what we can see here... i'm digging that too! :D

Is this going to be KS?

I like the final king but it needs more detail on the clothes. I think that's why the 1st concept looks better.

I like the detail of the first, the gold ornate background on the final. Both look great though.

Not my cup of tea, the number cards looks very messy with that background on it. The courts dont impress me, i actually like the 1st concept more, less isnt always more. The back design isnt the most attractive as well.

With the number of decks nowadays, im getting very particular with my tea. Not that this cup of tea is bad, its just not up to par for me.

I have to agree with volantangel. I first concept looks a bit better while the 2nd is kind of plain. I do like the background for the pips. Anything that changes from the standard pip is good in my book. May I suggest extending the background into the bleed area on all the cards.

One thing though: I don't see why the ace of spades needs to have an upside down Aquila being a single sided design.

Those courts look great. I'll be on the lookout for this.

Hey everyone

I'm the designer of Aquila,
I apologize for bot being here to answer all of your question.
I will note all the advice and suggestion, and there might be some change made according to your suggestion.
Eoghann wrote:One thing though: I don't see why the ace of spades needs to have an upside down Aquila being a single sided design.
Thanks for pointing that, will consider to make some change on that :)

For all who ask about the background on number cards, I hope this pic will answer it.
The background will be faded and I belive you could still see the pips clearly :)

FYI : this will be on KS and will be printed by Legends Playing Card Company.

Compared to the regular one, that is one boring LE tuck  Easy pass if it's just a tuck swap.

Either way, looking forward to seeing this project in its entirety.
