Virtuoso Night Light

Unread post by Eric Lee »

Wow, no one has posted this yet? How far the Virts have fallen that no one is interested in it!

But just for the sake of continuity, here's their latest deck, the Night Light.

To save you all from the wall of text in their email newsletter and IG post, I've just put the main points.

-Revised courts from their earliest series, and a circle in all the faces except the aces.
-Cold foil on the back.
-$19 per deck.
-Pre-order only which ran from 30th/31st Dec, 2025 to Jan 4th, 2026 (depending on where you are. Virts are in my part of the world, in S'pore)
- March 2026 delivery estimated.

Interestingly they ran a blind deck sale this time at $12 per deck. Almost always, this shows that they have lots of unsold stock from the earlier runs. I would guess these would be the Gray P1, Open Courts and Sea Glass.

Which could explain why they've moved to pre-orders now. The collecting hobby must be really shrinking since the boom days brought on by the pandemic.
Blind Decks!

Each Blind Deck can be anything from the new SS25 Spring and Summer decks, to decks drawn from our reserve:

Virtuoso SS25 Spring
Virtuoso SS25 Summer
Virtuoso P1FX
Virtuoso Sea Glass
Virtuoso OC II
Virtuoso P1

And because there are 12 days of Christmas?

Each Blind Deck is just $12.
UC keeps showing me an error sign when I try to upload the images. But you can see the pictures of the decks on the Virtuoso's IG page. Looks good, but not sure if it's $19 good. Have to see the full backs to be sure.

This was a pass for me. I do think the hobby has contracted quite a bit. There was a lot of speculative hype - particularly in the cardistry space - that fueled a lot of activity. NOC is gone, Fontaine has scaled back. I used to get decks for a few creators in the space but have scaled back and thinned out my collection. The bar for me is higher now and almost $20 not including shipping for a deck like this isn't worth it to me.

I believe I have one or more of their earliest decks, so I am tempted to pick one up. I simply love the courts. However, I will have to pass to give my wallet some relief.

Thanks for that, here are cropped versions of the relevant images, to save people looking up individual links.
