While this is not for me, I am seriously impressed how "all in" the design is on this sucker. Reminds me of Charmie Dreams the Cat's work.

That is because these designers have also 'teamed up with' Charmie/JinJade.
This is why you see identical approach to the art, the renders and it's presentation, using the same image templates and more.

Love this look and I am in for now. The main issue I have is the quotes. They are slightly off. I wonder if that's a translation issue or, as another collector friend pointed out, it could be due to IP issues. Perhaps they don't have the licensing to use the proper line. "Here is Johnny" vs "Here's Johnny" - or - "Brain!" vs "Brains!" like a zombie would actually say.

I'm not against a good tribute deck, but when it comes to direct quotes, they need to be accurate to the source. I am not sure I will stick with this one in the end because the close-but-not-quite quotes will probably bother me for the rest of time lol.

I saw the same thing with the quotes. And while it's not quite as much of a deal breaker for me as it is you (looks like), i'd much, much rather have the actual quotes on there. I threw down on this one right away. Likely will keep my pledge even if the quotes aren't ironed out, but clearly it would be better for those to be spot on.

No no no... The zombie is just looking for a light snack, so one brain will do. And zombies, historically, can't use contractions. That's how you know it's a zombie. That and the whole undead look.

I especially like the "1...2...is coming for you." lol. They're probably all a little "off," but the fact that they're all zombie cats seems to make it ok for me.

I love the general design of these, but I'm not loving the cardbacks. I'm interested in backing, but I'm holding off for now.

FYI, I commented on the campaign about the quotes and it looks like the creator is aware and will be fixing them.

I'm glad to hear it may not be too late to make those adjustments. I assumed they already printed everything before the campaign even launched. Good news :) Now I just hope they reach out to someone for feedback to make sure they are all accurate
