It took me way too long to figure out what that says and yet I'm still not sure. Does it say Portal?

It does indeed. I see a lot of soldiers/guards in the art. Not sure what’s going on in the center arches. Glanced at the middle one and thought it was a demogorgon for a sec 😉. Maybe it’s an Asgard theme?

Well, it is, and that's the name of this new project - ARK confirms it

Here's a link to the preview if anyone wants to view the campaign early:

Curious how the non-gimmick tuck standard deck is still the same price as the gimmick tuck standard deck. Until Ark fixes their pricing model, they make it easy to pass.

First time ever ARK is doing odd-shaped cards, but damn... they go much worse this time (not that its terrible design, but the soo many beautiful things that very tempting - especially the wooden set that can transforms into some kind of a temple with a portal haha)

I like the design. In for a “professional” deck.

That wooden boxset is super cool, but not $185 cool.

Really nice how Ark is exploring the possibilities of taking the tuckbox design to another level. That purple box is also a very impressive design. Pricewise is another matter.

Pity, Ark still hasn't learned to tone down the amount detail on the cards and tuck! Wish it wasn't so busy.

I find it interesting that the standard decks are limited to 3333 and priced at $29, and the professional decks are limited to 1000 and also priced at $29. Just backed the professional because I like the art but plan to play with them, but I wonder if the price or the quantity was a mistake?

Yeah, that's weird! I ordered the standard deck because of the rounded shape on the cards and the unique tuck box. The professional edition doesn't have those. I assume the artwork on the cards is the same on both decks?

It looks the same yes. Some additional ornate art in the top corners to fill out the space.

Can we get the Kickstarter link in the initial post of this thread?

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/el ... rds-by-ark

Like others, I'm a bit surprised that the "Professional Edition" is actually the ordinary version, whereas the "Standard Edition" is the one with the creative tuck box, and that's the one that really interests me. Not quite sure what to make of the unsual shaped cards though.
