Re: Old School by Leo Scherfig aka Moon Playing Cards
I'd say for decks that don't have too much feedback/comments it's fitting to have one thread for multiple decks (aka this thread). With large campaigns and decks that get a lot of feedback/comments (e.g. TGW projects) it's good to keep one thread per deck.
You want to reclaim your mind and get it out of the hands of the cultural engineers who want to turn you into a half-baked moron consuming all this trash thatβs being manufactured out of the bones of a dying world.

For Moon 65, there were two versions available publicly and were x/30 prototypes. They are numbered prototype #2 for the red backs, and prototype #3 for the blue backs. But what about prototype #1? Well, that was the initial test run not meant for public release. These were x/10 and Leo ended up changing the front entirely, after not being happy with what he had initially created. Here, you can see all 3 versions with detailed comparisons.
Prototype #1, #2, #3 in that order. The tuck stock is matte on the first version, while 2 and 3 have a glossier tuck. The aces were changed between #1 and #2/3, and indices were expanded to cover all four corners. Notice shading was also added for the latter two prototypes, giving the art less of a flat look. Beautiful decks I am honored and lucky to own.

I hope this post answers your question!

Hey guys!
Things are moving so slowly for me β but now I have at last put the newest decks on my website / shop:
https://moonplayingcards.dk/
The decks are called 'Crooked' and 'Moody' (and are numbered six and seven), and they are both really simple but also kind of beautiful.
I have marked them 'out of stock' on the website, that is just because I haven't released them yet. I have about 80 copies of each, so there are plenty for everybody who like them.
The decks are going to be a little pricey, that is because of both the production costs and the costs of shipping from Denmark.
I don't know yet when I'll be able to release the decks, but I guess maybe in a week or two. I'll of course notify everybody both here and on Instagram.
Untill then please take a look at the website.

They look amazing Leo. Moody really grabs me. Love it. Who are you printing with these days? MPC?Leo Scherfig wrote: βMon Aug 25, 2025 6:25 am Hey guys!

Did Moody and Crooked ever go on sale?

Leo said he would make an announcement prior to a sale. I haven't heard anything yet. I anticipate we'll see a heads up on UC and Instagram.
