I couldn't help myself, I ordered the Red Deluxe. I've had a long, dry spell while I'm waiting for several KS campaigns to deliver.

Re: OATH'S PATREON -details
45 euros for the players edition? Yikes. I am kinda holding back myself. I don't doubt they are amazing and worth it, but given all the stuff I already have, I am not sure I can justify that one. I am on the fence on this purchase as well. I guess I hadn't internalized the cost.

Yeah, that's a steep price for just a tuck. I'm out on that. I did just get the delivered the Test edition, and that thing is spectacular though.

Re: OATH'S PATREON -details
I’m betting a lot of people won’t unwrap the deck so the tuck is probably the most important thing. Still hard to stomach €45 for something sight unseen but this is not without precedent.

Kinda reminds me of a Ferrari kit car placed on top of a Pontiac Fiero. Granted, this deck is the equivalent of a very nice Fiero, but it comes with the Ferrari price tag.

I’m kinda nervous that Patreon is going to charge me this month. It still says I’m supposed to pay the normal Gold membership amount. But, the only option is to quit. The $5 level says it is sold out.

It looks like it would let me change if there wasnt a "pending payment" not sure if thats something else that hasn't cleared from today or what but the join button is there.
It says it wont charge until the 6th.
I want to say that yes this is going to come to grief from what happened when another patreon tried to make the same change a year or so ago and it just continuing to charge anyway.

Lotrek made it sound like we didn’t have to do anything to our pledges and we would not be charged. Am I mistaken about that?

Well, Patreon didn’t charge me. Grateful not to have to deal with that headache after the previous customer service debacle.

I actually passed on these. The price seemed excessive to me. I sure hope I hate the tuck...

Re: OATH'S PATREON -details
Hi all, I'm new here so I apologise if this is not the place for requests, but I was wondering if anyone had a side by side comparison of the 'Golden Rule Silk Edition' and the 'Silk Rule' decks? The information available online for a lot of these decks is quite limited, and I must admit I quite stupidly assumed that the 'silk rule' was a nickname for the 'golden rule silk edition' and I purchased the silk edition believing it to be 'Silk Rule'. Thanks

Welcome dude! Scroll back on this thread no more than a page or two and you'll see pics comparing them.APH92 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 05, 2025 6:49 pm Hi all, I'm new here so I apologise if this is not the place for requests, but I was wondering if anyone had a side by side comparison of the 'Golden Rule Silk Edition' and the 'Silk Rule' decks? Re: OATH'S PATREON -details
Thanks. I did actually look through all 100+ pages, but I could only find one image of the front of Silk Rule which was the joker, unless I've missed one. Do all the Golden Rule variants have the same front design aside from the border? I know the Test version has foiled fronts and the blue Silk Edition doesn't, do you happen to know if Silk Rule does?KGthePrince wrote: ↑Sat Sep 06, 2025 1:30 pmWelcome dude! kevork wrote: ↑Mon Jun 09, 2025 8:00 pm Seeing as they're now popping up on eBay from the EU, here's an initial view of the various tucks for Golden Rule. From left to right, you have the Golden Rule Patreon Test Print (1/280), Golden Rule Silk Edition (1/280), and the Golden Rule Players edition (1/900)

kevork wrote: ↑Wed Jan 29, 2025 11:10 pm The die cut for the Redemption VIV allows you to peek the tuck of the Silk Rule box, not an extra card like a double backer placed there. The quality of the foiling on the tuck box isn't that great, meaning you can't see the artwork of the foil at certain angles of the light; but shining it under a bright light source can yield brilliant results. Since it's a Redemption, I don't think Lotrek was shooting for perfection here.
Here are the backs of the following from left to right: Silk Rule Gold/Gold (x/190), Silk Rule Silver/Gold (x/60), loose cards included w/ Year 1 Patreon rewards. The borders on the front of the cards are the same for both Redemptions.

DeckCollect: Redemption Stories Vol. VIV (Silk Rule) [Gold/Gold], 2024
Silk Rule is a hybrid deck, using the courts of the Golden Rule combined with a foiled version of the Silk Players back. The back is done in the same way as the Venetian Damask fabrics were made: Lines in different directions (like the woven threads) that reflect the light differently, creating an illusion of motion and 3-dimensional depth. This version features a gold back with gold foil.

Only the borders on the front of the cards in Silk Rule are foiled.

Re: OATH'S PATREON -details
That's a shame. If the backs were all the same as the lose year 1 reward version, and all the fronts were foiled, it would be amazing. As it is there's not much point in me buying it. Thanks for the help.kevork wrote: ↑Mon Sep 08, 2025 4:22 pmOnly the borders on the front of the cards in Silk Rule are foiled.

What month/year did Patreon start?
Been so long I can’t remember which month each Patreon Year starts.

Re: OATH'S PATREON -details
Slightly OT but I have most of lotrek's decks and they come one of three ways.
No cellophane
Normal tight cellophane
And the loose baggy cellophane
It's this last group that really bothers me and I was wondering what everyone here does with the loose baggy decks.
Do you leave them baggy and suffer in silence or do you debag and put them in a Carat case?

I leave them in the bag and put in a case, though I have had a couple tear (at the seal and body). Those I just took off the bag and put in the case

I leave them in the bag in various safe places, but no carats as I fear steampunks tears too much
I don’t suffer in silence - I complain to anyone willing to listen
