I've never backed them and am not a supporter but looking at their Kickstarter history, they are clearly doing everything right for their backers. The rate they are releasing projects are insane. Small scale but stable.

In BaconWise defense, at least all of his decks are made by actual artists that actually illustrates all the artworks.

That time when TPPC cancelled their projects after getting caught of plagiarism is the thing they’ve done to themselves… Yes, he might had apologized that time when he get caught, but then… still some projects are questionable of using AI or... puchased graphic arts.

The rate they are releasing projects are insane. Small scale but stable.

Yet are they all 100% successful? Take a look at Royal Warrior, first one has a copyright infringement, and the second one still has it. Before Royal Warrior, he managed to get away with copyright infringement. So I see Bacon's comment as valid.

Of all the crappy takes in all the world, this is the crappiest. Thank you, user with 3 posts who definitely almost certainly isn't associated with the creator of this KS (wink wink). We will take your comment with all the sincerity and seriousness it warrants. That is to say, none.

Slagging off a respected forum member who has contributed far more to the hobby than your 3 comments can ever hope to achieve is not the way.

Have you ever tried to work with a real artist and create a deck? Curio has done it a couple times and even though the decks came out great, it can be difficult to continuously generate profits due to all the costs involved. When you steal the artwork from the internet, it is easier to make a profit as you cut out one of the biggest expenses. Please try to understand all the dynamics of making a deck and the difficulties involved before making such snide comments.

Should a Phan Fan want to defend them, you are more than welcome. But I can say that I have Bacon that I cherish and I am no Phan Fan myself - both for good reason.

I have to agree, out of all the designers/brands that stopped making cards over the years Jamie/Curio was by far the saddest for me. I have all my curio decks proudly displayed as well
