Ultimate Bicycle Rainbow back by MagicMakers

Unread post by Eric Lee »

Not a new deck, but I only recently came across this deck and I don't see it posted here.

This deck has been out for more than 15 years (Earliest YT review was 2009. Endersgame has been playing around with this since 2021.) MRSP is $24.99, but with some searching, you should be able to find it for lower than that.

I like the summary given by Meir Yedid at https://www.mymagic.com/p/card-magic/bicycle-rainbow
This is a custom deck of Bicycle, Air Cushion finish cards that were printed by the USPCC using some of their proprietary card backs that date back to the 1800s. The cards are printed using different colors to create a Rainbow Deck.

Although you can use this deck for any color-changing deck routine, it can also be used to create your own packet tricks with kicker endings, or used within a regular deck for any trick that involves an odd colored back.

Comes with a 52-card deck with different backs and colors, three double backed cards, a Joker reveal card, and access to video instructions. Manufactured by the US Playing Card Co. for Magic Makers.

You can see the different backs and colors in this Youtube video here:

If Enders or anyone else who has it sees this, please do give a review of the deck. I've been trying to find the website which lists down the different backs and colors but I can't find it anymore.

Eric,
I have one of these. Here are pics with the back designs laid out. I'm not 100% positive on all.

I traded messages with Marty Grams on the Magic Cafe around the time the deck came out. He had some of these decks that he sold direct, however in unsealed standard blue rider back tucks. I later picked up the retail tuck version from Magic Makers, and the cards seem identical. (Honestly, they don't handle the best, possibly the web press / sheet press issue of the era)

Fantastic George. I am back home and have gone to dig mine out of the basement (they were relegated to my secondary storage area) but with your reminder of what they contained - like a blue cupid and the holiday rider back with the snowflakes, I think they will stay upstairs now.
I had not listed them in my little black book (was thinking of another franken deck) so your post is Much appreciated.
