Picked up a few, first Uusi decks of mine.

Will be looking to grab Royal Optiks and Classics in the future.

I would have picked these up if it weren't for it being basically a new tuck for the earlier Ivory Edition printed by USPCC, which featured two more cards as a diptych. For these type of classy decks from Uusi, I prefer the sturdier stock of Expert's Taiwanese printer to USPCC. Nonetheless, the additional diptych is enough to cover the slightly flimsier USPCC printing.

Everything else is exactly the same.

This is KILLING me.

My brain says, "Well, it's a reprint of the deck you already have, and the only changes are a cosmetic change to the tuck (the Whisk symbol instead of the word "Pagan") and a change to the manufacturer, which you won't notice because you won't be adding this deck nor its predecessor to your playing rotation."

My OCD says, "GAHHH, MOAR!!!"

I mean, I already have every other produced version of the Pagan playing cards (that I'm aware of.)

But, $30 a pop.

Luckily, I dont own any of their Pagan decks, so I'm in on this one. I just got the 52+J deck which is my first UUSI and was quite happy with it. I dont know how this company flew under my radar.!

You really should get the Blue Blood Redux and the Bohemia, I think they are still available. And also the Pagan Tarot if you also collect Tarot decks.

The new Whisk of Lamia deck arrived today and it's virtually identical with it's predecessor, but with three minor differences:

1) The new variant's tuck (right-hand side) seems to use a lighter shade of gold ink (this one might just be me )

2) A different seal (baby blue seal is the new variant's seal)

3) New jokers (the final jokers for this series)


I'll let you decide if you think it's worth picking up
