Interesting that these do well while the KWP Bicycle line chocked.

All of these are excellent. Especially the Vol 20. (Tuck design based off Newport cigs)

When this series is compete, I'd love to see some sort of cool display for all the decks. But there might be too many lol I was just thinking how cool it would be to make a display that somehow resembled those old cigarette dispensers with the pull-handles.

Knowing Jackson's output I'm sure he'll make enough to fill a real cigarette dispenser, haha.

Re: Kings Wild Project Table Players Series (Merged)
(Apologies for the triple post, everyoneWe have restructured a few of our Subscription tiers for 2023 and wanted to pass that info along to you. The good news is (1) we're lowering the prices and (2) you don't have to do anything to take advantage of the restructuring.
The first question is most likely, "Why change it all again?". The simple answer is, as most of your know, we ran into several very frustrating production delays this past year, and we are trying our hardest to eliminate any and all bottlenecks in our production line. We have already begun to implement these changes! You may have noticed that with December's subscription, "Noel", we were able to fulfill ALL the subscription tiers at the same time. For the majority of our decks moving forward, we have eliminated the gilding delay!
Additionally, we are transitioning the Limited Editions of both the Table Players and the Vintage reimagined to a Standard Subscription. We believe this will allow even more people the opportunity to enjoy collecting these fine decks, and of course, will provide you with some extra cash.
Another piece of production that really set us back in 2022 was the book boxes that we included with the gilded No. 13 Club and Vintage Reimagined subscriptions. We found that particularly with the "leather" slipcases, the delays and amount of waste due to shipping damages was something that we simply could not continue to produce at the quality we hope to achieve. So in 2023, we are no longer including book boxes in the gilded subscriptions. It is possible that we will offer stand-alone "a-la-carte" purchases for some releases, but as a whole, we are getting rid of the book boxes. We believe that ultimately this will alleviate a huge bottleneck in our production line. In addition to this, this will allow our production costs to be drastically reduced which means we are drastically lowering the costs of our 2023 subscriptions across the board, but most notably in the Gilded Subscription tiers.
In order to take advantage of the new pricing and structures you need to do absolutely nothing. We will handle all the restructuring on the back end! So for example, if you currently subscribe to a LTD Table Players, an LTD Vintage Reimagined, and a Gilded No. 13 Club, you are currently paying $109/mo for those three subs. In 2023 you will be automatically transitioned to the STD Table Players, the STD Vintage Reimagined, and the GLD No. 13 Club, and we will automatically reduce your subscription to $54/mo! You will retain all your current subscription numbers for all Gilded subs and the LTD No. 13 Club.
You of course can always add more subscriptions. The new subscriptions will be available on December 16th!
You can see the 2022-23 price comparisons below.

Re: Kings Wild Project Table Players Series (Merged)
I just got delivery of this months' Table Players and Vintage decks. With the new pricing, I had added these on to my no. 13 sub. These are now both printed by the mystery PRC printer and no longer by USPCC. I really like the Atlantis tuck and the deck is pretty nice overall, but for a standard courts style deck, these don't handle all that well. Not terribly, but they are definitely a step down in handling and feel from the USPCC decks. Personally I think handling is pretty important with standard style decks. For the vol. 25 Table players deck ( Ironsides), the new cigarette style tuck opening is neat, but the same handling as Atlantis. I'll keep these subs going for now, but don't know for how long. Has anyone else received them yet? What are your thoughts?

Agreed 100%, the new tuck style is cool for sure but I really liked the USPCC-printed Table Players most of all - however I can't argue with the new pricesAdamthinks wrote: ↑Fri Jan 06, 2023 8:11 pm ... for a standard courts style deck, these don't handle all that well. I was confused by the Ironsides motif also. But apparently this was the inspiration, so it makes sense.

Re: Kings Wild Project Table Players Series (Merged)
Yeah, and it's the first one by June. Nothing against her, but finding out that she did half of the Table Players decks for this coming year has me rethinking my Table Players subscription a bit. I just haven't seen enough from her to trust that I'm going to like what she does. And I wasn't loving what I saw from her during the Enduro session. I might just cancel and pickup the ones I like later.

Re: Kings Wild Project Table Players Series (Merged)
Still awaiting my TP and Club 13s for February... do I recall correctly that he said in a Wednesday Weekly Update that if you ordered TP Gilded, the packages would be closer to the end of February? Anyway, I think that's what I recall hearing, and I appreciate seeing the photos here while I wait!
The backs here are certainly not the strongest of the series (my Trick-or-Treat Club 13 decks from a couple years ago aren't handy at the moment, but this reminds me of those), but if/when the hearts and diamonds are not going to be red, I think this shade of Orange beats other colors that have occasionally been used.
Any metallic inks this time around? I can't tell from the photos.

Please don't go off of my photos for the exact shade of orange, my phone was trying to "fix" the white balance and it's not the same in person!
It doesn't seem like it to me

Re: Kings Wild Project Table Players Series (Merged)
Just got this months Table Players and Vintage Reimagined. The stock used on this Table Players feels different than what they've been using from this PRC printer. They handle and feel better than anything KWP has released from that printer so far. The Vintage deck is using the same stock as previous ones. Or at least that's the way they feel and perform. It seems like little by little, they've improving their quality. Which I'm sure is what Jackson was hoping when he switched to them.

I'm no handling expert but they're decent - they fan easier and more evenly than Cibola

Great to see them make improvements. That Ace tuck and as well the colour scheme of the courts is pretty darn nice.

Re: Kings Wild Project Table Players Series (Merged)
So, I checked with Jackson to see if the stock on the Ace deck would be something they would be using for most decks going forward. He said they have used the same stock, paper and finish for every deck they've released this year. Which is confusing because the feel and handling of them has differed from deck to deck.

Re: Kings Wild Project Table Players Series (Merged)
That could be a quality control/consistency issue more than a different stock/varnish issue then. Any difference if you revisit two decks now that they've acclimated to your environment?Adamthinks wrote: ↑Tue Mar 21, 2023 7:31 pm So, I checked with Jackson to see if the stock on the Ace deck would be something they would be using for most decks going forward. So I handled them some more and can definitely still feel a difference. The cards for the Ace deck have a more textured feel to them.
