Nice but not for the price.

Re: Ronin v1 (First Edition) Pre-order
Could be the V2 of the Bicycle Dragons deck, which I loved. But the price + shipping is more than 3x what USPCC charged for that deck. Here's hoping it does fund and find it's way to online retailers with lower shipping.
Just confused that they actually called it as a Pre-order though. Does that mean it'll be printed irregardless of this funding or not?

RONIN v1
Ronin v1 by Zero Edition Cards
Hi everyone, so I'm super new to all this and would like to apologise right now incase I'm using this site wrong. I'm an artist who is also a card enthusiast and have been working on my own deck. After just over a year of work, its finally been launched for pre-order on Kickstarter! I have designed the deck to be appealing to collectors but also workable for professionals. If you are curious then please follow the link below for more details and information regarding my brand and what I intend to bring to the market.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and please leave any feedback/suggestions below, lord knows I need it

Hello, welcome to UC, and thanks for posting! I went ahead and edited your post to allow the Kickstarter widgets to work correctly
Best of luck on the campaign!! (Also be aware today is Thanksgiving in the US and things may be slow here today, if not this whole weekend!)

Re: RONIN v1
To merge is putting two different threads about the same deck together in one so that the forum doesn't get cluttered by too many threads. So he was just making admins/mods aware of a thread for your project already existing.
Welcome at UC btw.

Ah! I see. Understood! Still very new to all this, thank you everyone for helping me navigate. Since starting this venture I've found the community to be incredibly helpful and supportive. I only even found this site through another kind persons suggestion. And thank you for the warm welcome!Harvonsgard wrote: ↑Fri Nov 25, 2022 4:25 am To merge is putting two different threads about the same deck together in one so that the forum doesn't get cluttered by too many threads. I like what you're offering. A very well done customisation within the standard court aesthetic. I wish USPCC would ditch their ugly courts for yours and make them their new standards, haha. It's a tough market though, especially in the current times so, I wish you two all the best.

Re: RONIN v1
Thats by far one of the biggest compliments I've ever received! I've been a card enthusiast/amateur magicians for years now but never really mingled with the community (probably due to my social anxiety) Trying to get the word out about my deck has forced me come out of my shell a little and I'm honestly so glad about that. Little did I know i'd be talking to so many wonderful, supportive and like minded people. Even if I don't get funded, this experience has been so humbling and up lifting.Harvonsgard wrote: ↑Fri Nov 25, 2022 9:08 am I like what you're offering. Re: Ronin v1 (First Edition) Pre-order
Hi, thanks for the feed back! Its called a Pre-order because they have not been printed yet. We're a start up company and the decks we've used for promo are demo decks printed via makeplayingcards.com. We've spoken to USPCC but are waiting to hit the funding goal to actually be able to print the deck. Also, sadly we're based in the UK and don't yet have any connections internationally so will be shipping everything personally. And just between us because of these factors, we wont be making any money by hitting our goal, if anything we will be putting more money in to complete the order.Eric Lee wrote: ↑Tue Nov 22, 2022 9:54 pm Could be the V2 of the Bicycle Dragons deck, which I loved. Hopefully in the future we will be able to lower the cost of things like price and shipping by building a network but for now this is the best we could do. Thank you again for your thoughts, its truly invaluable to us.

RONIN v1 US Deliveries update!!!
We've taken what you've said into account and understand that shipment costs are a huge deterrence. Having said that, we are now in talks with someone in the US who may be able to distribute the decks which will lower the cost of deliveries for all our US based customers!
Please keep an eye on this space for further updates! Once settled, the changes to delivery prices will also be shown on our Kickstarter campaign page.
Thank you again your all your feed back!

Re: Ronin v1 (First Edition) Pre-order
Hey everyone! So, finally we've been able to bring shipping costs to the US down by more than half of what it was! (Before £10.55-£20.85, now £7-£8) In celebration of this, we have also lowered the prices of shipping to Europe and International by a small amount. To be completely transparent, using known fulfilment companies would have only dropped the price by about 10% so we've gone beyond that, taking a hit on our profit to ensure our customers satisfaction! We hope you will continue to support our small start up! Thank you!

My pleasure! Honestly we did not expect all this support from the US. Had we know, we would have done this sooner! Thank you so much for your support!

I'm actually from Malaysia, but I have a US shipping address for cases where it's much cheaper to ship to US than M'sia. This is a very international forum

Re: Ronin v1 (First Edition) Pre-order
Hi! Thats awesome! It is actually a lot cheaper to get it delivered to the US. Again the price comparisons are on the campaign page. So if you're interested this is probably the best time! Thanks for commenting!

Re: Ronin v1 (First Edition) Pre-order
Hi everyone, so with two more days to go of the campaign, we have added a limited amount of the original "early bird" offer plus a 3 deck version of the same offer. Hope this plus the lowered shipping prices help towards making this deck more accessible for those who live overseas. Thank you again for your support, really does mean the world.
oh! and merry Christmas everyone!
