anyone would have a hard time completing these...... One packet would have costs a lot, not to mention if it already enters eBay, where flippers and scalpers going to rekt some people. Yeah, this Brand is the absolute controversial ever, not gotta lie.

Also here are the names listed in the bag along with the "supposed" print run of the decks. I also include the description of each deck and who is holding the respective deck coming from the trailers:
  • CGI (4000) - Mocap Man = The front cover shows a floating head hovering it's hands over a crystal ball. There is the archway with playing cards suits and the title "Fontaine" is on the top part of the arch. Everything is composed by 3D computer generated geometries, and the style of it to looked like the Computer Generated Images back in the 1900s. The back design features an arrangement of 3D modeled machineries with the 3D text of iconic letter Fs on the center. Due to the lighting, the Fs has the bright side on the top and the dark side on the bottom. It is hold by the Mocap Man.
  • 1993 (4000) - The Weekend Warrior = The front cover shows a big black square with scattered letters in it - like a CAPTCHA text image. Below is the word "CARDS" separated with dots and the letter D is in red. The back design is a black and white and symmetrical design of a vintage TV countdown test card calibration. Each of the corner side is identical to each other opposite. It is hold by the Weekend Warrior.
  • Decoder (3000) - The Detective = The front cover shows an image of scattered dots with repeating Fontaine logo on it in red color. The back design of the cards also show the same patterns as on the tuckbox, yet it is with red and yellow color. It might looked gibberish, but if you looked very closely, you can see a faint images in light blue. The deck comes with a viewing window in size of a playing card. Seeing the deck through it reveals the true image - the front cover that shows a detective with a jester-style outfit with the text "Detective Fontaine is on the case", while the back design will shows the iconic letter Fs. It is hold by the Detective.
  • Hacker (3000) - The Hacker = The front cover shows what appears to looked like a computer command's script with the digits and letters are in digital green. The characters formed the borders, the title, as well as several texts and the image of a computer setup with a skull on the screen and a fight between a beast and a demon. The cards have a black background with green color for the pips, numbers, and courts. The back design features the iconic letter Fs formed by all green characters - Capital letter X creates the border around it while the rests are filled with capital letter Fs with a few (.) and (/). It is hold by the Hacker.
  • Rave (2000) - The Raver = The front cover shows the title with an image showing a vortex tunnel with royal courts of Hearts suit with an eyeball flowing in it. The cards are in yellow with black color for the pips, numbers, and courts. The back design features the iconic letter Fs on the center and on the left and right is the black square with the name "Fontaine" with the smiley with swirly eyes face. The border is an ad copy of the deck. It is hold by the Raver.
  • Character (1000) - The Fry Cook = The front cover features a cartoon mouse and sausage. The cartoon mouse bears the letter F, while the sausage bears the name "Fontaine". The back design features a rainbow gradient background with five cartoon characters stickers - a water tap, a blue elephant, a pinky pork with a bowtie and hair, a chick riding a bicycle, and a pie. The deck has holographic foil. It is hold by the Fry Cook.

Gotta give him props for trying different things with this deck series beyond the usual foil and foil edge printing trend. It's a good direction, much better than what the other cardistry hype brands are doing anyways, IMHO.

Slightly better than the futures in terms of the ratios. But it'll definitely be alot of diehards fever dreams to try and get the whole set without burning a hole in their wallets.

For me it's the 90s/early internet aesthetic, I was a kid then so these designs are right up my alley

I didn't mean your post... 😉🤫...
I get what you're saying in regards to the designs. I'm very split on the 90s. It's a thin line between trash and art and the 90s in general seem to have celebrated a wild rave on that thin line.

well, at least they arent the colored rectangle with an f on them but the designs are not for me. ill be nice and say only that about the designs. i am glad that this mystery deck BS has not become a standard from designers. i get why they do this to boost sales and hype but it is pretty shady to me. I feel like you are actually screwing over your fans and collectors by doing this as you are at about 1 in 17 to get the stupid sticker deck.

My two cents:
Fontaine sure did go all out for this one, getting all the makeup artists and choreographers and such to create those trailers. The idea is kind of... Freddy Krudger gone soft and sided with this controversial brand. The decks are nice, at least each one is different as in the back designs - the front... I don't think so for some. But having these 6 decks as a blind pack, totally.... gotta rekt people to try and get them all, and more so because this is a HYPE brand we are talking about, it's gotta be even harder than before..... Last one, the Futures, already hard, and now this....

This makes there are two mystery decks event in a year for Fontaine. Wow, that snob is good at making quick bucks, we can tell. And with all that money, instead of investing and try to do a higher print run, he decides to just hang out in amusement parks XD

Remember the release of the Fever Dreams back in September? ALL SOLD OUT
During the Members Release, the Singles are the first to go out fast, but in the Public Release, the Bricks are the first to go. It's funny and ironic ain't it?

People though it is gone forever, BUT we already prooven that the numbers doens't mean anything, thus here it is...
On Christmas Day, December 25th, Fever Dreams re-released (stocking up from the vault) - a revamped brick box. This time, the brick box has slots for a few extra items in there: A DVD and photo book showcasing all of the Fever Dream final videos and behind the scenes. Perhaps Fever Dream is one hell of a project they have done in their history of the brand. It was 200$ for this "Fever Dream Deluxe".
269895949_665513117808293_9027286057805164525_n.jpg

269842029_955523105383240_6150418537947507464_n.jpg

Got a few problems for this release:
  • They don't sell the Book and the DVD seperately from the box. Then, what about those who managed to get the brick box months ago? Welp... guess they have to lived without these exclusive BTS
  • Release right on Christmas Day? Wow, that's quite so low... either spend money to enjoy the holidays OR to spend it on the money magnet controversial hype brand ever? But if you got a lot of cash to spare, so why not both?
  • Releasing a DVD in the era where medias are now in live streaming platforms isn't a smart move. Sure, we got people who collect DVDs and BluRays, but how to play the contents if you don't have access to a DVD Player? All newer models of laptops don't have CD players anymore. Unless you have older laptop models with CD player or if you are okay with buying a portable CD player for one-time use, there is no way to enjoy the contents in the DVD.

Simply put, stupid of those who chase these hype releases for the sake of hype, not properly thinking what they really like and don't. In the end most of these purchases will end of in the corner of the room gathering dust, with $200+ void in the bank account, or attempting to offload double the prices on eBay hoping to lure in even fatter hype sheep.

End of story.

I always thought I'm the one active member here with the most anyone/fontaine or cardistry brand decks in general. I might have to give this title to hsbc!? 😃

Kudos for the misalignment on fontaines again. Somehow it feels like Zach is insisting on having misaligned decks. I can't remember seeing a good bordered deck from fontaine after maybe the first Carrots.

Kudos to misalignment? Jeez, that boy just never learn about Quality Check - maybe be too busy of getting a lot of moolahs rather than making sure his “fancy” decks are good. Willing to spend thousands of dollar for that short movie production, but doesn’t spare a penny for upgrading quality check - smh; perhaps that snob knows that now his decks are like imitation golds, that majority of people will keep it close and eBay stoners do the work for him of keeping the hype burning

I think that is the basis of hype brands: only money, don’t give a f**k about the products and customers
