No, it's to imitate spots and splashes of body fluids when crime scene investigators use UV light to investigate disguised murder scenes.

Yeah, the backs of the cards all have full-bleed UV ink on the borders so it could have very easily transferred I guess

You know, I really should check my mail more often. My wife finally insisted I go get the mail. I had a nice package from Gambler's Warehouse and sure enough if was my TWI Patreon quarterly rewards, which included a pair of BM decks. Unfortunately, one of my BM decks was obviously manhandled and mistreated. I have a desire to go discuss this with the Spades. However, I guess I need a deck to open and this will do. Maybe not something more extreme as to discuss with the Salesman....this time.

I happen to have a black light at the office that I got on another Kickstarter project, so I can't wait to put this under that light to enjoy the deck more. I really like the clever use for UV Ink. I think next time they need to go high tech and work in the underworld of the dark web (which sounds so ominous).

Like Egoism, I love these cards so much, but the tuck is what keeps this from being a great deck for me. A different paper stock would do wonders for these decks.

yeah, even if it was just a matte stock with no foil or embossing. its so odd, if you want to get glossy paper for your printer or copier, it costs more. if you want matte paper for tuck boxes, it costs more.

That's because your matte printer paper is lower quality than the matte stock you need for tuck boxes.
With printing paper you have coated (glossy) and uncoated (matte) papers. The most expensive stuff of paper stock is wood fibers. Uncoated papers consist of more wood fibers and less fillers and stuff, that's why they're more expensive.

I wonder if the UV ink on playing cards would last long though. I terrified on the fact that hidden UV ink decks will eventually loses the awe as it ages.

Yesterday, I have gotten my order of the Black Market decks. I got two, so I can open one!
Damn customs decided to damaged the tuckbox of one, almost sliced off the box. So I open the one that is damaged.

And.....

This marks my first TWI deck that is off-centered, courtesy of USPCC
