Great style of illustrations but I would wish for a greater difference between courts and number cards. I'd say the number cards are even better than the courts. Tuck could use some bells and whistles, too.

Re: Vaxa Deck Handpainted Kickstarter
I'm liking this deck more and more as the artist releases additional cards.

Well these finally shipped out and as an art deck they're great
But they handle terribly!

Re: Vaxa Deck Handpainted Kickstarter
Feels like it might have worked better as a semi-transformation deck. Not sure if I regret not backing or not. Probably not.
Amusing line that jumped out on the KS page: "For The Vaxa Deck, easy and smooth shuffling alongside beautiful and high-quality art is my priority." Half right I guess?

I went in for a single deck, as I was quite sure the handling would be poor - couldn’t resist the art though.
Tough to convince people that their favorite tarot card printer cant handle playing cards…

I wish more tarot decks went with Expert, I'm sure they're more expensive than others though - I would really love to know what various printers charge

Re: Vaxa Deck Handpainted Kickstarter
She responded in Kickstarter comments to someone commenting on sticky cards…
“sometimes with this matte finish the cards need a little time being touched and worked in order to loosen up. Ive noticed some take a liiittle bit longer to really glide- but they will get there and with this finish they should be longer lasting and water resistant.
LMK if you think yours is defective, and I'll swap ya for a replacement.“
