You want to reclaim your mind and get it out of the hands of the cultural engineers who want to turn you into a half-baked moron consuming all this trash thatβs being manufactured out of the bones of a dying world.

Re: Glow by ChrisCards
I still feel like UV ink isn't anything that I should care about, just because I won't bother setting everything up (turn off lights, close door, put on UV light) just to play with a deck. And I don't see how anything is going to change that feeling, even though this deck looks pretty cool. Probably great for cardists who regularly make videos though.

Unisono on this; cool tool for people that wanna create video content but after having one uv reactive ink deck, I'm saturated in that realm.

With all the uv decks, I'm looking Into creating a blacklight display case for them.

Chris is a great man with great ideas. He shared also his experience with us. To be honest i didnt know before that the people in playing card are so friendly and supporting each other. Nobody is jeloys of each other its really a nice feeling to be a part of this family⦠I wish whole world should became a heart like a playing card player.
I wish chris best of luck in his coming projects.

Re: Glow by ChrisCards
I recently picked up the Chris Cards Glow V2 deck, and also the companion Chris Cards Holographic deck. Printing is by WJPC, and the handling is very impressive.
I posted detailed impressions in the review part of the forum, along with lots of pictures.

Here's a few photos of both decks to whet your appetite.

VXD doesn't like any cards that deliver better results within a normal timeframe with less hassle, lol.

Re: Glow by ChrisCards
Oh, that would be a cool deck, done properly. I wonder if Ben Jones of EPC or Ben Green will be up for making that deck!
Just imagine the holo halos. Those will really shine!

Re: Glow by ChrisCards
The pic of the V2 courts looking like they have a purple background is not that accurate in my experience. I have not put my UV globe in a light socket yet But I have tried them with my 3 different UV torches (including the one that came with the V1 box set) and the look is much more like the pic of the holographic Kings pictured. Don't get me wrong - I like them but for stand out backgrounds like in the pic, I cannot go past MPC Fluorescents.
This Magicorthodoxy review will give you a much better idea of what both versions look like IMO
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G9j0RYDbRUw
I notice the Cards Unboxed gets a pretty deep purple and he says he is using the torch provided
He thinks the provided 365 nano torch (different from your standard UV torch) really makes the colours pop
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qi1dH3tk_78
Strangely I found with my Swiss+Tech UV torch, I found you can see a very subtle pattern in the white (somewhat purple) background of the faces but I could hardly see it with the provided torch
I will keep you updated if my experiments reveal anything new
