Online marketplace for cards

Unread post by chicken_ql »

How many people would appreciate having a website for selling and buying playing cards specifically similar to what tcgplayer has going on? It allows people to see the price trend for decks and how much popularity there is for each one. Just curious on the general consensus for a service like that.

A platform that charges fees and raises the prices so that you're better off bying on r/Playingcardsmarket or here?
Ehm... nah thanks.
I've seen it in the sneakerscene all bigger marketplaces offer the worst prices.

52-wonders introduced one of the best ideas of a playing card marketplace! They have started testing it here https://markt52.com/

The idea is simple - you can send decks there, and they sell/send orders from their warehouse in Germany. The service is in the early testing stage.

I am planning to add my EU based decks there. As you know, 52 Wonders offers EU fulfillment. So it is very helpful to have leftover listed on this site.

It would be cool if Gamblers Warehouse started something like this in the US.

That would be interesting if it could harvest the current Ebay prices for that particular deck. It gives one an idea how just much the ceiling price is for a deck.
