Gemini Casino 1975 Orange

Unread post by jerichoholic »

Place your bets on how many recolours we are getting of these? lol

Also available in a very limited unsealed version that sold out, not sure what is up with unsealed being so popular.

As someone who's been accused of being a tuckist, this goes against everything I stand for

Anyway, I like this but knowing how many recolors are on the horizon I'm going to pass. Just makes me

This reminds me so much why I didn't like the 70's color schemes....argh! Why was I afflicted with that growing up? I don't need to relive it. Pass.....

Recolors aren't a bad thing, they're not a terrible thing. Variety is nice when someone likes a brand, they tend to go after more and that's what recolors are. They're simply more. There is nothing wrong with more. If someone doesn't like a decks design to begin with then it's not to their taste eh. In which case it's a complete pass from the giddy up. I'd find it hard to dislike a classic looking design like this from the get go myself. I like it's clean and crisp with that elegant feel. I like this design a whole lot more than the original design for Gemini Casino's. That's not to my taste so much and I don't own any because of that. (I may pick one or two up at some point because I can if I feel like it) These 1975's are on a whole different level in my opinion.

I look forward to the rainbow of flavors that will hopefully spring forth. I like this deck, I like it a lot. It looks delicious. :D

On the unsealed front, I like not having to deal with the glue on a user. I appreciate just being able to pop-n-go. I'm in it quick and the cards are out so I can do my thing. Without a seal I can also just use pressure to open the tuck while it's laying on the table, that's harder to do with the stamp seal there even if it's cut, broken or torn. I don't know why they'd sell out first unless there was just a few after they ran out of stamp seals. That may have been the case.
TL:DR It's completely up to you.
We can still be friends.
I actually like playing cards.
We live in interesting times.

There were only 92 unsealed decks. They were $19 whereas the sealed ones were $12.

Lel... get less, pay more. But I guess they'll find some suckers on the aftermarket that are willing to pay even more for the leftovers.

If anyone is hurting for cash in these pandemic times:

1. Buy sealed decks
2. Remove seals
3. Sell as "unsealed"
4. PROFIT
