Both Doreamon and Miffy are extremely popular in Japan. Doreamon is a old, long running cartoon that is loved by many generations all throughout Asia and Miffy, though a Dutch cartoon, was made infinitely more popular in Japan and is almost a national icon like Hello Kitty.

Because of this, it seems only natural that these two decks were released in Japan. ;)

If it was 2 colors instead 4 colored pips then it'll be ok with me.

I have some miffy65s for sale. $40 each plus $3 shipping, much cheaper than overseas offerings on eBay. I have a very limited supply.
I expect they will be the next Bike "white whale" because they were available only at the exhibition, and apparently sold out.

I've started a discussion amongst the mod team. There's already some of this going on (Murphy's, JP, and others), but we should (re)evaluate and concretize the rules on this.

In any case, I would also like to welcome Mr. 52andJokers back, and hope he sticks around :)
