Issue with Vanda?

Unread post by kem-collector »

Has anyone ever had any issues with receiving a package from Vanda? I made a purchase during their sale, paid for it, got a tracking number and everything. The package has been stuck at "Package Acceptance Pending" at Grand Prarie, TX, which is where their fullfillment center (Gambler's Warehouse) is at. It has been stuck there since 1/10/2020 and Vanda hasn't replied to my last email for 5 days now.

Not sure if this is the case but sometimes the tracking doesn't work properly and i just receive my packages without the tracking updating.

Yea I have had that happen also, but I do not think that is the case here. I've seen other packages I ordered after I ordered from Vanda pass through the same facility since that is where the Gambler's Warehouse sends their packages to. They get here in three days like clockwork. It has been 13 days now since they got this package and the Vanda website says the order is "Fulfilled". Man, I hate doing charge-backs.

Well, I just got an email from them right after I hit submit on that last post. Ace@Vanda says that it appears that USPS somehow lost the shipment between picking it up from their warehouse and delivering it to the USPS. They are going to ship out a new order. I am glad they are taking care of the situation, but I hope this is not a normal occurrence with USPS over there in Grand Prairie. That can cause some hurt feelings with customers and $$$ for Vanda and other shippers.

Same exact thing happen with me. So hopefully the second shipment will show up with no issues.

I have had the same USPS issue from GW where it was shipped, but USPS never showed it went anywhere. They may have an issue with their receiving post office. Lost shipments should be extremely rare.

I actually got an email from USPS since I submitted an inquiry. According to them, the shipping label was created but the actual package never made it to the warehouse. Between what Vanda says and what USPS says, it kinda sounds like someone that delivers packages from the Vanda warehouse to the USPS Office may be.....a broke but avid card collector...
