Tinker Playing Cards by Ellusionist
Sorry for crappy cell phone pics. Available here: https://www.ellusionist.com/mystery-deck.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; but only for a limited time since E seems to rotate their mystery decks. All I know is it's printed by Cartamundi.

Re: Tinker Playing Cards by Ellusionist
I can't even find what those look like. Very curious. There is one eBay listing, which I assume is where you found the deck. They state it was an unreleased Ellusionist deck? They go on to state Fontaine in the description, which is a pet peeve and misleading at best when sellers do that.
I know we aren't likely to get any help from you on the cards themselves, Vasta (

Like I said in the 1900 Series thread I bought this deck directly from E (using the link I posted in the OP) as a mistake. I thought it would be the 1900 deck.BaconWise wrote:There is one eBay listing, which I assume is where you found the deck.

Another crappy phone pic but you get the idea. Stained faces, interesting joker, double backer, 4c gaff. The whole thing has a very "Fallout" video game vibe. I'm liking the feel of the stock.
I happened to buy too many of these, if anyone in the UK wants some cheap hit me up.

Not a bad deck but doesn't cut it in 2019.

Another lousy deck from E. Why cannot they produce something even halfway original?

More crappy phone pics, but at the request of Decknowlogy I took some closeups and found that they are not standard courts at all! What I get for taking pics at night when I'm tired. The tuck printing is muddy and plain though, terrible tucks!

I like the ceativity that went into the courts. I guess these aren't bad. But I'm still sore for not receiving what I expected.
Side note, eBay has a $3 off coupon (details here... not sure if that's against the rules but F it, I'm a MOD
Use it to get playing cards by 11/1!) which I used to secure me a 1900 Series deck

I like these custom courts, but can't say I'm too crazy about the stained, 1900-like look

Hey Will, if you are viewing this post....Pip of the Month Club???
I am interested. I consider this a considerable improvement for Ellusionist, so for that I am grateful, I would like to see them put out more decks like this and even a bit better.

Re: Tinker Playing Cards by Ellusionist
This deck isn't bad for the $4.95 I paid for it during the sale, and I do like the stock. Liked the 1800 deck too. But I think the last deck I really liked by them was that Aurelian deck. Or maybe it was just for the tuck because I am a total sucker for black and gold decks.

I misunderstood the concept of "Mystery Deck." I thought it meant they were going to send different mystery decks, and I like surprises. So, long story short, I now have a brick of these. So, Surprise! I guess.
This is me, though I really should update me.

I just ordered 2 since I liked the Tinker concept...though the receipt confirmation you get kind of takes all the mystery out of what deck you're getting

Re: Tinker Playing Cards by Ellusionist
Folks have said much about the theme, but I just got these in my hands from @Strag (thanks btw).
These handle amazingly... Cartamundi's new stock is smooth as baby powder, and the design aspects of this deck turned out better than I expected. The weathering is repeating and falls on the darker side, but for the price of this deck from some folks who got a brick around here? 120 out of 100.
No "Tinkering" with renders with these shots

Re: Tinker Playing Cards by Ellusionist
I’m no cardist but I did say in one of my earlier posts that I liked the feel of the stock. Right out of the box very playable and handle well. Currently the deck in my kitchen for when the wife and I want to have a quick game of cards.

Yeah I kinda like these too. Wish I got a few more during the Ellusionist sale, would have preferred an extra deck of these instead of another deck of Cartamundi Hellions.
