EndersGame mentioned these cards a few months ago in this post viewtopic.php?f=81&t=14362&p=163582&hil ... b4#p163582 but there has not been a proper post about them, from what I could find, so I thought I’d make one.
These were released in 1957. Artists from around the world were invited to submit designs for new court cards to celebrate Thomas de la Rue’s 125th anniversary. Jean Picart le Doux had the winning submission.

Very nice! I've wanted to pick up a Thomas de la Rue deck for a while. De La Rue company is now a secure documents printer; they print banknotes for countries around the world, so they're easily familiar to notaphilists.

I have a set of these coming from Sherman, they are nice decks for sure!
As you can see from Matt's pictures, he has two of these: One opened set and one in mint condition which is something I have not seen before.
