Hello everyone!

You might have been tracking this project for the past year in the Custom Deck Drafting Board topic, although I think it’s safe to formally post this project here as well to announce that qbix is CURRENTLY LIVE on Kickstarter for 30 days!

Early Birds are only available until Sunday Oct. 27th @ 11:59pm CST (LIMITED QUANTITY AVAILABLE). I do believe qbix is priced very competitively compared to others out there based in the US, especially the Early Bird pricing! Fun little fact; if early birds sell out, we will already be at 65% funded. More info can be found on the Kickstarter page at the bottom of this post.

Updates will be posted frequently on social media throughout the campaign and long after until the last backer receives a their qbix deck. Please feel free to ask any questions; post in this thread or send messages on Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook!

I sincerely appreciate all of the feedback I’ve received from the members of United Cardists, you all have seriously given me the most support than any other outlet I’ve reached out to. This project means so much to me on a personal level, and I truly hope we can fund this together.

10300 - ok
10900 - Silver Metallic inks. It's impossible as you are using gradients and shadows. You can only use Pantone inks on solid color areas.
11400-11900 - Uncuts. Print 10 only. You will never sell 50 uncuts.
15700 - 2500 decks. Why? Try to sell everything on Kickstarter. Make it exclusive! It will be hard to sell all remaining decks after KS.
24600 - It's unreal.

If silver metallic inks unlock there will be parts of the back design that will be adjusted to allow metallic inks to be printed. These areas will be similar to how the borderless gold looks, except it will retain the light green and purple colors in their respective areas.

There's a minimum amount of uncut sheets USPCC will allow you to print.

The last stretch goal is definitely unlikely, but it doesn't hurt to include it in case the project funds like crazy. We've all seen those random designs go bonkers with funding, I'd like to be prepared for that!

Looks like Gambler's Warehouse upped their minimum print for my project when I asked them then. Welp... We'll see how this goes! I'm optimistic.

It looks like your links at the bottom are the problem that cause the message. Try embedding them diffferently. I always use the exact link from the address bar, since I figured that short links or if you use on clicks cause trouble sometimes. But this is just a guess.

In all seriousness though. Great deck(s) and best of success with them. Due to a lack of a credit card I can't back on kickstarter, but I'll definetly will pick some up if they become reality.

I also got the error message when trying to edit the title, and it was indeed the links that caused it. Put the links in {URL} tags and the error went away. 10 points to Gryff... er, Harvonsgard

Agreed, though I went straight for the duo EB (for once) which wasn't so bad at $35.

Yeah, I highly doubt that second deck will be unlocked, unfortunately. Hoping for a follow-up campaign sometime in the future

Thanks MagikFingerz! You can be 100% confident that I will launch the Borderless Gold edition as a separate campaign if this one successfully funds! Or if this one doesn't fund I'll do a relaunch but with only the Borderless Gold, given most people I've talked to prefer that version.

UPDATE #1: Incredible First Start! We're right on track with meeting the goal.

We're almost at 25% funded in the first two days of my first Kickstarter campaign. Needless to say, I'm more than happy with the traction the project has gained so far. This would not be possible without you early backers!

The Early Bird tiers are being claimed quite fast and there are just about 55% left in total. Don't let your friends miss out on discounted tiers!

Think about a restart:
0. With 1000 prrint run
1. With $5000 goal
2. With standard USPCC boxes
3. With one deck and without "buy one get two" discounts
4. With $10000 stretch goal for boxes with foil

I agree especially with 3. after careful consideration To use buy one get one free for UC to draw in more funding is actually harming the funding you get: basically you earn nothing from the backers from UC, just making the current funding look good. Eventually if it funds, you'll have to pour in more money from your pocket to produce those extras

My understanding is that usually there will be a stall in funding increases until the last 48 hours, when people get reminders for saved projects When/if you get funded, be ready for some pledges to be dropped due to credit card errors, etc.

Sounds like really solid advice, definitely worth listening to. Probably shouldn't rely on UC to fund your project considering how small the community really is. The buy one get two doesn't draw me at all, but if the early bird pledge was straight up 2 decks for $15 with lower shipping costs, there are a lot more potential backers/customers you could draw in that aren't on this forum.

The UC member bonus isn't solely meant to draw in more funding. :/ It's honestly just an appreciation bonus.

As for the other recommendations, I agree and I'll be adjusting the project in different areas if a relaunch is needed.

We know I think people are just trying to provide some insight - after all, there are no free decks for anyone if the project doesn't get funded
