I dream of a world where wars are fought only by having dance offs. I also dream that a Finnish playing card designer would exist. The former seems more likely to happend.

Summary:
Like Toàn Dân, Tu Do comes in two versions. Both are poker sized. First edition are plastic coated paper playing cards and second edition are PVC cards. Artwork is completely identical.
Tuck boxes feature the same design, an embossed TU DO with playing cards written below. The playing cards writing and the back design, which is featured on the back of the tuck box, is made on the first edition with purple foil and on the second edition with black glossy ink on matte purple cardboard. Both feature a tiny Ū seal in corresponding colours.

Verdict:
I'm totally honest, the artwork (especially the pips) leaves me wanting. Modern and simplistic, which is per se not bad but I would loved some more artisan approach; especially when a rich culture can be represented with these cards.

Now onwards to the positive surprises. The handling! The paper cards have an embossed structure like the air-cushion finish on them and handle, not like butter USPC, but at good (as in, not the crap from the past) WJPC/MPC level. The fanning ability leaves a bit wanting but other than that they are great. Definitely B+ for handling.

But now to the plastic cards... People in here might know that I'm a plastic cards sceptic. That said, those are nothing short but incredible. Apparently I only handled crap plastic cards in the past and there're indeed great handling plastic cards out there. The PVC cards are soft and first I was afraid to make the test kem-collector told me to do. But then I said ban-warning it and tried to fold the cards. They snap back into the original shape without being dented. Furthermore, they spring, dribble, Riffle shuffle and overall handle like a dream. Faro shuffles are possible and even easy, if you're somewhat advanced with doing Faros. Not that self-working, like with perfect paper cards but surprisingly easy to faro. In comparison, I had paper playing cards that due to rough edges faro worse than these PVC cards.
The fan in the picture above are the plastic cards so, nuff said I guess. Disclaimer I never practise fans so all my thumb fans look like that :D .

Overall I'm more than pleased with the handling of both versions.
