Super minor typo: in the Brick of Bricks tier, you have "eight eight" instead of "eighty eight".
Thank you!

And thanks for the typo spot - lucky that we could edit it before someone backed 144 decks. Phew! At least you can back that tier with confidence now

God loves a trier.

Jocu - one thought that occurred to me is that perhaps you should speak to TGW and Jody and try to cross-advertise each other’s decks (not that TGW needs it much) in your respective updates to raise awareness of your decks.

Great idea I'll get in touch with them. As you say it's very one-sided but they're great guys so maybe they can help out :D

Thank you! I love the Acqua too... It was a big debate over whether to do Acqua green and gold which I didn't like, but the brown and gold looked great. In the end Ale came up with silver and it was perfect :)

I wish you great success on the campaign. I do like the tuck designs and I can tell a lot of work has been put into the design of this deck. It surely shows.

The courts really aren't for me for some reason. They aren't bad per se, they just don't get my blood flowing.

If that acqua tuck had been copper foil instead of silver I would have squeezed one deck in there though.

You should totally have a mock up of the cold foil edition to hype people up to get 250% :). Worked for TGW to some degree i think :D.

Thanks so much to everyone here at UC who has pledged so far. It’s great to wake up and see so many familiar names on the dashboard! I have to say a significant number of backers have pledged either directly from here or through here so the community has really come through for us again.

Re: mockups of cold foil I’ll speak to Ale. We had a lot of trouble finding realistic mockups and filters so I think when we do this again we’ll be enlisting the help of a certain master who can produce proper prototypes of all these lovely things. If we’re going to do decks with foil and embossing we need to show it for real. We’ll try though!

If I make one exception, it will be harder to refuse again (even for $$$). With all the respect I'll keep using them for myself. It's fine as presentation is an essential part of each project.

  Looking good so far. I think the only reason why it isn't funded 100% yet, is because the people emptied their wallets for the TGW campaign.

It’s true, even with your April 1st campaign I was like ‘Ale, check out the foil on these renders!!’

Still I think with so much effort going into the box a nice prototype will be the way to go next time. Let’s see :)

Hey guys! If you’d like to know a bit more about the design and what inspired the style, ideas and even the colour patterns, check out our latest update.

We share a fair bit of information that we haven’t shared before about the design of the courts and aces and how they connect with each other, the story and Sicily.

Enjoy!

Over 50% within the 1st day is a good start.

This is a deck that deserves funding. Designed very well by a stand-up contributor.

Let's get this funded!

Eh it feels like it’s stalled massively today. Only moved a couple of percent since this morning. Still in good shape but you start to wonder where the rest of the backers will come from

I'm not a creator but I think that's normal :D A big boost usually comes right at the end, too, when KS sends out reminders to people who have saved the project (48 hours left)

Cross-promote with other campaigns? Offer deals for people to upgrade to bricks? I wouldn't worry yet - and I might end up backing for both colors  Agreed 100% that this deserves to be funded and printed :D

I agree with hsbc. I was considering getting a case but the deals weren't really there. Especially with shipping, I really only save a little bit. If you had increased the original price of the Filide single deck to like 15, it might've seemed like more of a deal. (increased perceived value) Imo, the reward tiers need some work. But I believe it should fund anyway because the art is so fantastic :).

I don’t know, bear in mind that us and European backers were getting decks for €115 shipped as an EB. It’s never great for ROW shipping wise but I think the prices are pretty good for a foil embossed fully custom deck. ROW shipping is discounted too to the same level as the ‘free shipping’ but I guess psychologically that doesn’t show to be honest.

That said it is an expensive deck compared to less blinged up ones, so maybe a tad ambitious on my part as a first timer. But then go hard or go home right? :D

Still all is hardly lost. It’s just absolutely throwing it down here today and we have to move house tomorrow in the rain and you never sleep the first night of a Kickstarter so we’re both being grumpy and pessimistic [MURRAY] were still doing great for a first project and we’ve got plenty of time to get this over the line!

Oh, no i mean like your decks are too cheap for how good they seem to be. If they had a higher initial price, it might boost sales of bricks because they'd seem alot cheaper.

It's a great project for a first timer for sure. I have no doubt in my mind that it's going to fund as well. Just thought it might be something to consider for future projects.

Ah I gotcha. I guess I didn’t want to exclude anyone and the shipping charges on two decks didn’t push people to upgrade as much as I thought they would. 2 decks is by far the biggest tier despite not being free shipping, and the fact that for probably an extra €5 you can get the same plus a coin or another 14€ with the EB could’ve taken 4 decks.

I’ll see how the next few days go. I like the idea of adding discounted upgrades to existing backers as long as I doesn’t nullify EBs that other’s have already pledged for. We’ll see how we go wth cross promotion. Only a couple of backers off that 60% mark!

Actually with a bit under €700 a day average on top of what you've already raised, you'll hit the 250% funding goal. You received over €1000 on day 2 of funding, so you're perfectly on track so far.

Well when you put it like that... I guess it’s only been a day and a half so there’s loads of time left. Maybe it’s time to sit back a bit and see what happens for the next couple of days.

I can imagine running a kickstarter is quite intensive, but 57% in 2 days is not bad at all. It's logical that the second day is slower to the first. I wouldn't worry too much yet.

Right, your second day isn't even over yet and kicktraq shows €1123 already for your second day, and it's only now evening (when most people browse and shop online) on this side of the Atlantic. Maintaining anything remotely like that average will meet all of your stretch goals and then some, nevermind the extra activity that most KS get towards the end of the campaign.

I think this will be a bigger success than you expect, you are very humble but the work you and Alessandra have put into this shows in everything. I look forward to a fully blinged out deck. :D
