I don't own any Jetsetters, so I'm not "in". No complaints, though.

I don't need 200 Jetsetters of the same design but different colors. If all the color change decks are being criticized here, the same applies for these; and adding insult to injury, they marketed the prototype as if the ones who got them were like gold class "CHOSEN" ones.

No. One deck in the series is enough.

Looks like you can get the red or black from their site with free shipping (for US orders) for $12 and $16 respectively. I don't have any of these either, but the price for existing decks isn't bad to have shipping included. Not sure I'm crazy about the green color though.

A good point and I agree, but I just love the design. I bought 3 of the black variant, but they didn't turn out to be as exclusive as I'd imagined.

Honestly, I'm right there with you. This is the last planned colorway of the Premier Edition series. Once this project is complete, I'm moving on to the next series / design. My long-term roadmap had only four colors for the Premier Edition. Blue and red for the typical poker set, black for the private reserve, and green to provide a nod to the first colorway. No need for more colorways at the moment.

Quick statement on the prototype, I do a Prototype Invitational for every Kickstarter deck. It's been an amazing experience for those involved and myself when I did the first one. So, I continued the tradition. It's my way of choosing a few in the community and say thank you and get them a behind the scenes view on the overall process. They tend to get really involved together (again quite the experience) but they have ZERO obligation to acknowledge they received the prototype or even post photos or "market" anything for me. It's not like how you just describe it – gold class "CHOSEN" ones. Ask any of them (some are members here). But I understand the perception.

I had to change the plan for the black deck once I saw the proofs and decks themselves. They were too nice to keep out of everyone's hands. They were initially only going to be for close friends and family. That all changed once I saw them. But they're great. Personal favorite.

Paul, I know and I've heard about the prototype thingy before and as you said, good thing it's an invitational thing and not obligatory. I understand this makes it catch users attention especially by entering comments into the Instagram post, and to be frank, I don't disagree. The thing that kinda irks me is seeing the same design with just a different color, nothing else changed. Immediately reminded me of the Green Keepers, but even they changed the card stock with Cartamundi to give it a different feel. It's just the disappointment after seeing all the hype.

Take Odyssey Nova, for instance, despite how underwhelming it is here on UC, at least they changed up the faces. I'm just glad that we got your confirmation the next design will change.

Definitely don't want to see any disappointment. I get it though. Please blame it on my "OCD" of wanting all four colorways to be as close to being the same as possible - cards, tuck, feel, etc. It's always my first request to EPCC.

Looking forward to "retiring" the Premier Edition for... the next edition. 8-)

4 is the MAXIMUM amount of colors you are allotted.

After that it's trash. I say this, because I have 4 Arcanes, Artifices, Kings, etc. Once a design goes beyond 4 colors, it's just obnoxious, and really - there needs to be a threshold somewhere.

Is it too late to tweak the green hue on these and add "United Cardists 2019 Deck" to the tuck?? :ugking:

I'm glad enough to only have the blue version of this deck.

I gotta admit that these are growing on me.

The design has always been "basic", but it calls to me for some reason. The court recoloring is good. The back design is just clean and nice. I like the jokers a lot. I may have to pick up all 4 some day.

Now, if for whatever reason, a 5th color emerges, these will be dead to me...

Edit: And I should probably be able to pick up 2 of each deck for around $100 at some point, so that's another plus.

I'm actually happy that this is more of a basic deck vibe, and $8 is not bad for the quality. But like the discussion about shipping on another thread, $10 for shipping to UK is not ideal, so I'll see about aftermarket sales.

Still, good luck with the campaign, and there no worries this ain't gonna fund!

Decks like these I'm always on the fence about. On the one hand they really dont pop out as thing special or add to what I try to collect.

That said. I have one I got from so.ewhere (mbe a pipbox) and they feel a d handle fantastic. A great working deck.

I shall have to think on this.

Always great to see creators posting in their threads :D I've got a black deck of these and personally that's enough for me, but yeah, they're solid cards for sure! :D

For those interested, any chance to get the other decks as add-ons to save on S&H for the KS project?

That’s not a problem. However, the only colorways available at the moment are Restricted Red (v2) and Jet Black (v2). I might be able to restock the Altitude Blue (v2) decks.
