It just rubs me the wrong way to find another, more limited set, show up after Kickstarter. I kind of feel a bit cheated and my part of helping fund the design diminished as a result. I guess I feel a bit more like partners in the design. I know this doesn't happen with Jackson, but on Kickstarter I do not always get my rewards. In fact, I am still waiting (and likely will never receive) the rewards for the first Kickstarter project I sponsored. I know it is not a guarantee to get the rewards and I accept that risk. On the other side, I advance my money and at best have to wait quite a while before receiving it. I understand that the creator often is lucky to even break even on Kickstarter and often has to sell additional (whatever it is) products in the aftermarket to make any kind of profit. Like some have said, it bugs me then when the rewards get dumped on the aftermarket cheaper than on Kickstarter. It also similarly bugs me when another version also shows up, especially a rare one, after Kickstarter.
All said, while I have most of Gold Set, I will be up trying to get a set myself. The price per deck is actually really good in the package. I am going to try to not get carried away this Black Friday, but this is one I want. So, am I so upset I will never buy another Jackson Robinson deck ever again?...

, no.
Thanks to everyone posting about the Black Friday deals.
I totally understand what you are saying and can understand how me releasing some "even more limited" version of the Tigers could seem like a slight. To clarify what the Gold Tiger Edition is...
When I was packaging and looking over everything after I received everything I placed one of the Standard tucks into the LTD matchbox and really liked how it looked. When ordering anything like boxes or decks you always order a little bit more than you need to account for damage or production errors. I had about 100 extra of the LTD matchboxes so I created this hybrid set that I call the Golden Tigers. Basically, the Golden Tigers are The LTD box and cards with the LTD cards in a Standard Tigers Box (instead of the white display box). I also painted the red sandpaper gold and order a short run of the seals in gold foil with black.
At it's most basic level me making these types of sets is me trying to come up with a creative way to clean my shop of extra inventory. I say this because my middle daughter Scarlett, hangs out in my shop a lot and if there is anything thing, like a stack of 100 colorful boxes, just sitting around, it becomes fair game for Scarlett to turn into some fairy box or new craft.

I should have some pics of the Golden Tigers today, that I can show everyone. If it still rubs people the wrong way I can totally scrap the Golden Tigers. Slighting any of the backers is def not my intent, I just don't like trashing stuff like that and I would rather create something new than to just throw 100 empty Tiger boxes up on my site. Hope that makes sense. Thanks for your comments.
