Well, for one thing you'll never get enough beta carotene that way.
I'm not an expert, but I don't think people put things in their lower rear hole for nutrition.

Wait, "lower" rear hole???

Er. So how 'bout them cards, huh?

This really is off topic and should be moved to the Uranus Deck discussion. Yeah, it would be a great name for a band.

Yes. I dropped my Pluto add-on and added 2 of these instead.

That sleeve kind kills the thing as it hides two of the decks... The good thing is that you always remove it...

Your sense of priorities is completely foreign to me. Why would you want less great art when you could have more great art?

I actually like the look of the Pluto courts more than the Neptune courts.

I couldn't care less about mini-decks.

We looked at a number of options for the sleeve design and this was the best one. If the edges were thinner then they would be likely to rip so we opted for structural integrity. The ends of the case are still visible and you can see mercury and neptune there :)

You're okay with your solar system(s) being incomplete?

That's what boggles my mind.

I'm in for three cases, three plutos, a set of chips and three coins. That way, I have three complete sets.

The dwarf planets Ceres, Eris, Haumea, and Makemake are equally a part of the Solar System as Pluto is, so I consider my sets as complete.

I agree with 2pc's suggestion that we should have four more minidecks.

So I've never gone for an add-ons on a campaign and I'm not sure if I'm doing this right. If I want to get the Pluto deck and the carat case I just increase my pledge by 50?

Yes! After the campaign they'll send out Backerkit surveys and your extra money will be there to "spend" on the items you want, which will be listed at the same prices as in the add-on sheet

They just announced 50% the entire set ...

50% off for 6 more hours...
Don't miss your chance to order a complete 8-deck set of The Planets playing cards for 50% off retail pricing...the Neptune Kickstarter campaign ends in 6 hours!

Hey, thanks! (He said sarcastically...) Since I paid full price over a year ago, are you going to give me a rebate???

Calm down, they haven't announced any discount. The Kickstarter prices from the very beginning have been 50% of what they will be selling the decks for retail once released. That is all that his recent social media posts have been referencing, no new discounts. The price you (and I) paid for the full 8-deck set is the lowest price it will / was / is being offered at.

I'm also not feeling the case, defeats the purpose of seeing all of the tucks' sides.

Btw, I received my Saturn decks.

Just don’t use the slide then and keep it in a custom carat case for 8 decks.

Yes, Saturn has shipped as well. Keep in mind though I am like really close to GW, so not far to go for me. Still, they are on their way. However, Saturn shipped right after Jupiter. I hope the rest can ship quickly as well and we get the final stuff before Christmas. With all the extras in the last campaign, that may be a real feat of logistics though. If anyone is up for it, it would be David. He has really surprised me with how he got this series back on his insane schedule. He has to be a magician. 8-)

My Saturn decks arrived, without notice, Thursday afternoon, I was like "whoah, these were shipping already?" I had just received my Jupiters on Monday.

Double-checking: has the Backerkit survey for this campaign gone out yet? I thought it was weird that I hadn't gotten my Saturn deck yet and when I went to send a KS message about it I discovered I'd never pledged for it [MURRAY] Thankfully I'm only buying the SEs but I still need to make sure I add one on to my Neptune survey.
