The wife and I went to see David Blaine on Thursday, 31 May 2018, in Dallas, TX. It was a great show and we both had a really good time. I opted for the VIP tickets for two reasons. One, I wanted to get the new 2018 tour deck. The front of the tuck looks like the Observer deck from last years tour. However the back looks like the Skull & Bones from Conjuring Arts, instead of the Split Spades logo. The second reason for the VIP option was I was hoping to get a deck signed by David. I have a signed copy of all the Gatorback decks except for the green version. So I was hoping i'd get a chance to get him to sign one of mine.
During the Meet & Greet, David came and hung out with us and did a few card tricks and impressed my wife with his humor. She was also happy to be called upon to help him out with one of the tricks. We all got to take pictures with him and then the game was on to get him to sign my deck. As he started to make his way out of the meet and greet area, I chased after him like a stalker and finally caught up with him. Unfortunately for me, I was not very prepared and the only pen either of us had was a black sharpie. At first he was like naw, it won't work, but in the end he signed them anyway. It's not exactly what I had in mind, but hey, they are signed and that's good enough for me.
Everything was great from that point on until the end of the show. At which point, during the last act, a teen was asked to join David on stage to perform a card trick. David set most of it up then let the teen close the act. It was good. But then David grabbed a Brick Box to give to the teen. At this point I was all like "oh how cool" he is going to get a mystery box. Great for him. But then, David opens the box, as if to show ME, that this was not the normal mystery box, and specifically pointed out that this box had a White Lions Stealth deck in it. I don't think I've every been so jealous of a 12 year old boy in my life. That being said, it was very cool to see David give a prize like that out to a youngster.
Anyway, here is a couple of photos of the decks mentioned earlier.

Not that I'll likely to get a chance to see DB on tour, but how much was the VIP tickets for your site?

Re: David Blaine 2018 Tour
Front Row Tickets were just over $500. The rest of the VIP tickets were around $300. These included the before show meet & greet. There was a third option that didn't include the meet & greet and I think those tickets were about $120...
