It does look good. The tuck looks like the Hawaii deck that came out years ago. The only Hos I have are from JR/KWP but I don't mind getting others. The one I'm on the fence but I might jump.

I love Tally Hos, but $45 for one of each is a little steep for me, not in general, but in this case because all 3 decks are just slight modifications of the tuck. Like why does the Limited version exist if it has exactly the same number printed as the Standard. In fact, because the "Original Release" contains the Limited tuck inside, there's actually more of the Limited tuck case than the Standard tuck case.

I love that he's still doing restorations, but still doing the 3-5 versions. Which is nice since you can choose the basic option to get the deck or the more replica like tuck, but then makes the goal harder to reach.
Mostly though I just really hope he does more interesting ones, like transformation again, Murphy's was amazing to see recreated. More of THAT please.

I did just that in fact, just one standard edition for me.
This project is clearly geared toward collectors, so my complaint was (and will always be) that the creator should cut down on the number of meaningless changes. It would be like if an artist painted 3 or 4 different versions of a painting and each one is slightly different because they couldn't make up their minds as to whether the Mona Lisa should wear a hat or not; commit to what you think is the best and stop giving people useless variations.
I mean, the underlying truth here is that it's
likely not just about the artist's decision paralysis, it's more than likely that in this hobby the creator knows collectors will just buy every version of something, so they want to capitalize by making low-effort changes that get people to buy just one more product.

Congratulations, you just levelled up!

Best thing you could do is let the creator know how you feel.

I only settled for a standard deck, good enough for the price.

As for totals, that puts me now at Insight = 5, Collector IQ = 10, Frugality = -10,000
I'm gettin' there.

That's not really my thing. If a creator asks for input, I will gladly tell them how I feel, I'll be honest and (attempt to) give helpful suggestions.
But most creators tend to have that bit of 'artistic arrogance' that makes them think they know what they're doing and have everything under control.
Those guys tend to zone out the complaints.
Nothing wrong with being confident in your decisions, but that gamble is on them.
They're betting on people like me shelling out, and my only useful response as a consumer is to look at what they're offering and say either "I'm in" or "Not interested".
If enough consumers say "I'm in", then the gamble paid off.
If enough consumers say "Not interested", then they were wrong, and they better learn from it.

Did everyone who pledged for this project get an email with the survey or something regarding shipping?
I received nothing. The creator hasn't responded to a private message via Kickstarter. Not a good sign.

I received a tracking notice on Aug. 16th and received the cards a couple of days later.

I did received some type of email before I received my deck.
I like this deck. Is it me or the mock up pic backs look brown but the actual card backs looks like a slight green color? Other than that, I'm happy with having another Ho.
