Video doesn't show anything. Picture above is barely worth the screen life I burned pulling it up. Teasers are only as good as what they are promising with the tease.

I would rather just show us right away what you have designed. If it's good, many people here will be on board.

Creating Ellusionist type of promo videos and attempting to build hype without showing anything is not going to get you anywhere here.

Edit: I checked your other project from a while back, the Classic Bicycle. It seemed to be one of the best designes that has not funded, you clearly have talent as a designer. After seeing that, NOW I'm curious.

You gotta show more than that man... So far nothing interests me enough to allow more spam to my inbox.

How about the name of the deck so we can update the title of this thread?

I can't stand bullshit teasers like these. You may have something good here, but you didn't show it, so my level of interest is equal to the degree in which you revealed your deck, which is basically zero. Bad first impressions like this tend to make me ignore the deck in the future.

Could someone please explain this recent phenomena whereby they need to compel you to volunteer to this clickbait scenario.
It's a ploy of desperation encompassing a pathetic undertone that seems forced upon the event ....
Anybody explain this whatever it is that I cannot get my stupid head around.
It's not just here, it's across the web (the tiny bit that I haunt), this indirect, proxy, sign up by stealth, this "contract by click" scam crapola.

On the other hand it does show a resistance to what feels like finessing, manipulation, or an attempt to pressure, ploy and contrive, a racket like manoevre instead of an invitation to a, umm, new deck of ..... playing cards.

This whole teaser business is very off-putting. I really dislike it. It does not create anticipation for the cards at all.

Yup, no anticipation here, could care less.
Tzzzzz, I'm no admirer of advertising per se at the best of times, it's a ludicrous business built on appearance, gloss and lies applied to peoples "expectations" being separated from perceptions.
An industry built on 'the appearance of beauty' which is totally and transparently ugly.
And hence all this pathetic desperation about clicks.

I like the card backs quite a bit, and the back of the tuck looks nice too. Not really diggint the front of the tuck much though. All in all not bad.

I like the tuck box! The front is nice, the back is even better. Not too hot about the card backs, they are ok, but not great IMO.

That alone puts me out of the running to be interested, but the whole tease of a tease of a tease thing REALLY put me off as well. Minor annoying teasers to drive interest somewhat works for established artists, movie/tv series and yes some deck creators. However, this was far too drawn out and you do not (yet) have a completed deck that had great success that we know of. (EDIT - I did find this quote "we ended up designing around 6 playing cards. Grimoire, venom, venom strike, Dr. Jekyll and Hyde and Majestic Playing Cards are some of our past designs" that implies you have had success, but this wasn't mentioned to lend credibility in your hype building, even so, still too much teasing and hype) I did enjoy parts of the classic bicycle deck and it's too bad that didn't fund, but I sure hope you learned a lesson here.

Anyhow, I'll still wish you good luck as this does have some nice elements, but isn't for me.

For me, the most successful custom decks have a cohesive theme throughout. That's sometimes difficult to achieve if you leave the court cards standard, then all you have to work with is just the tuck, the back design, Ace of Spades, and Jokers. Making fully custom courts that seamlessly blend into the theme of the deck completes the overall design. This deck is called Jaguar. Aside from the cat on the tuck, what else gives any indication of a theme? Even if a jaguar is incorporated into the AoS/Jokers, it will still leave this deck thematically weak. Among the very strong decks coming out these days, the Jaguar deck is easily forgettable. When you factor in that this was one of the most epically ridiculous tease/marketing failures for any custom playing cards ever, this is an easy pass.

I quite like the tuck - The Jaguar design is really very nice, and the back has some intricate design work. The red highlight on black is a tried and tested combination but works very well.
However I think it would be better made with black card stock - the exposed white edges of the card give it a cheaper feel than it is shooting for.

The cards themselves are underwhelming - as sinjn says there is little cohesive thought in the overall design that shouts "Jaguar" at me. The card backs lose the complexity that is demonstrated on the tuck, and whilst the courts and face cards are nice and clean, there is so much potential to show off imagination and artistry here that it's a shame that they are quite so standard.

Nice tuck. Nothing else is anything special really.

Instead of having this, I would rather get an another Mantecore deck...
