A few days ago I indicated that I knew a bit of inside information about a change coming:
Are you ready to take an OATH?

Are you ready to take an OATH?

Something tells me that OATH is an acronym for something, otherwise why would it be all capitals? Whatever it is I'm looking forward to finding out

Is it me or does the stock look extremely thick on those cards?

As with most previews of decks, it's a rendering. There's more to it than just the deck, though - significantly more. Now, if I had a reason to do another "Something Wicked This Way Comes #xx" post, I would have. It's not earth-shaking, but it is a major development from one of our "favorite sons" here on UC. Check out the style. Any clues? Does it look familiar? (well, it's not - of course - but the style might give a clue)
OATH is a word, might be an acronym, I suppose.

haha, gonna enjoy and take a walk here in uc today for the first time
emmmm. its not thick paper for sure, i can tell, its the close view. I would say its either uspcc or legend linen stock. and it feels soft, might be something before that.
its always smart to use silhoutte and spacing while designing things. the design pattern doesn't feel familier to my mind, no clue who it would be.
can't wait!
lol, my post went all quiet all the sudden and now i feel lonely. gonna walk around [BACON]

gotta work while i am still young, hahaha

How does Lotek have the time if it's even him at all. Guess illustration is therapeutic.

If it is Lotrek I sure hope he can handle ALL the extra work he has to do on all his outstanding projects. And is it me or do the card edges look dirty? Or gilded? Well, not gilded per se since they don't appear shiny but...

Yeah, I should have cropped that little corner out, eh? It _IS_ indeed a dead give-away, now that I look back at it. Otherwise, I suppose it could be numerous people - but indeed, it is out old friend and card warrior Lotrek, who is going to redefine what you can (and can not, I suppose) do when you try to break out of the mold the big manufacturers have everyone stuck inside.
There's a good bit more to it other than just "OATH Playing Cards", though - I'll let him detail what's up - when he has time and gets around to taking a breather.
I happen to know that artwork is therapeutic, in many ways. My wife's primary diversion right now is her 'adult coloring books' - and no, just not kiddy stuff - minds out of the gutter, guys.

Hmm... customize-able playing cards that can be drawn on, like coloring books? Question is, if I'm right of course, how can they be properly drawn on after a finish has been applied? A new finish perhaps? Hmm

This looks pretty slick... oath me in! Here I'll start:
"Night gathers
and now my watch begins.
It shall not end until my death."
...
Am I doing this right?

As long as you don't sleep with any wildlings, no matter how pretty all that red hair looks.

AH, I see! You could go ahead and make my eyes blue, since I see some nice sky blue already on the card. LOL... I swear, you need to quit using me for a model, I'm not a model citizen, in spite of my history. Besides, I'm the Ace of Spades, remember?

I'm really interested in the colors you'll use for the courts, that blue looks very good!
