The back designs have won me over, but I cannot say the same for the courts; they're just not my style. The "earth" element back has won me over alone though.

When I read the title I thought for a second that this was about the Elements campaign run (and now apparently abandoned) by Alien (st)Ink. No such luck.

That being said I am with CostlyAxis on this one. I like the backs and the pips are nice but those courts kill it for me.

Really like the back designs and how the different elements are incorporated into the pips :D

I can easily see myself supporting these decks. What I see in these photos are fun and attractive, that's not something that can be said often lately.

I like the illustrations but I wish they looked more like court cards and not just pictures spliced together. The backs are definitely nice. Makes me wish an Avatar The Airbender deck existed. :)

Needs some consistency. The QoC has a clubs background but the other queen doesn't have a background according to her suit. I think the courts also need to be bigger.

Hi All,
The current plan is to launch on Tuesday morning/noon. I've broken the tiers out into early birds and regular for U.S., Canada-Mexico, and Rest of World to make it as equal as I can.
Thanks very much for the mention! Your inputs have helped. The launch draft versions of the court cards will have the one-direction suit markers but we are going to make them proper mirror images. As for the comment about liking a more traditional design we're planning to use that approach for the water deck.
I'll be posting a preview link to my backers soon and here shortly after if no-one has posted it already.
There are two things I'll note in addition to my update to AEsir backers: I'm taking Mike's "true shipping" idea and breaking out the costs for the deck and shipping to give you visibility into where your money goes after your pledge is collected. We're also using Eddie's gang at Gambler's Warehouse for fulfillment. I got through shipping out everything on the AEsir project but it took too long for you and for me :)
Thanks again, everyone.
Best,
Doug

I like these but I have to agree with Daniel. Maybe a ribbon representing each suit in between the courts separating them. Just a thought. There should never be white space between courts, IMO.

Once again i absolutely hate the inconsistency of the court sizes, some courts are cut of at the torso, some courts all the way down to their knees. It just makes the courts look messy and incoherent. The art itself isnt bad, but i think the AOS can be better. And an early bird at $11 isnt exactly cheap, but oh well i guess im out.

Hello everybody. Im Ciprian (from Deveo Media) , partner with Doug for this Kick Starter Campaign. I just wanted to let you know that we're following your suggestions which are very helpful since this our 2nd deck design (previous was Aesir) so we're still in a learning curve. If this deck will be funded successfully , not only that will prepare 3 more decks in this series but we're in discussion with Doug for a totally new style deck which will be aan engraving style and detailed . We're still researching on a theme and try to be as original as possible.

Thank you for your support and reading this topic.

Ciprian is great to work with! Like many of you creators out there we always get awesome ideas. We're hoping the Fire deck will be successful so we can get it shipped to its backers and go into the next part of the Elements series.
