Looks like Anne Stokes has a new deck releasing soon. Here are the only images so far. Here's direct from her website.
I’m pleased to announce that this new Steampunk themed playing card deck featuring my artwork is ready for release and will be in stores worldwide soon.

I don't have many of hers and this deck is definitely more cohesive than her previous ones. Looks interesting. I like how she kept the illustrations limited to Aces, courts and jokers. Wonder if it will only be available on her site or through USPCC's website.

The shop is closed at the moment but it said in stores worldwide soon so I'm guessing these may not be in the bicycle store.

Speaking of which, what the hell happened to Club 808? There hasn't been a single upgrade to the website nor e-mail to subscribers since before Black Friday. They're certainly not making want to renew my subscription...

Club 808 "Perspective" deck made me decide to let 808 go.

Not a fan of the small Bicycle logo, one way courts and the done to death Steampunk theme.

Bike is Bike, Bike. Guess she does it to favor the artwork and appease bikers.

That angel on the tuck is pretty kickass though. Have to admit this is on the higher end of steampunk related decks. I don't really own that many.

Say "Bike is Bike, Bike" ten times fast. I once mentioned before how out of placed some decks look when you display them with others that are different in sizes.

I love her work but she went without a suit indicator for her courts. Plus her suit in her indices blends in with the border color.

This deck does look like it's hell on the indices, but there is a suit indicator in the face card border itself. You'll see them with four very distinct colors. While it would still be rough to play a game of poker with them, I think the border color change is a pretty inventive way to overcome the challenge the indices posed. Whether it was by happy coincidence or planned, who can say? Either way, it looks like a gorgeous deck to me. That's what it's supposed to be, isn't it? ;)

I realized that being International and with the delay between decks (and some decks not being good) and the sign up discount it makes more sense to wait until there are enough decks for me to place a bigger order and then rejoin. No way I'm getting Perspective but at least it's the first Club deck I've felt that way about.

I'm domestic but feel the same way. In a year if there's anything there I want, it'll still be there. That is the third club deck I didn't care too much for and the second for last year. Next year I'll see what's what and make my evaluation from there. There's always a tipping point, something that enables a decision to be made. For me, the 808 Perspective deck was that enabler.

As much as I moan and groan about yet another Pirate/Vampire/Cthuhlu/Steampunk deck, it was inevitable... Actually, I like it! ;)
