Seeing as they're priced really cheap. Anyone wanna trade for some Gatorbacks with me? I've got some blacks coming and still have some greens we could trade. I'd like two, maybe three max.

I would also like to trade. I have one V1 deck and would like to add 1 or 2 V2s. Anyone wishing to trade please PM me and see what I've got that you may want.

Are you feeling well? Collectors ALWAYS fell like getting too many!

I was thinking of creating a stock index based on decks... kinda like what they did with Big Macs....

Just grabbed half a dozen, and also threw in 2 medallions by accident. Meant to click on Tycoon and wasn't really paying attention. Fired off an email to support to see if they'll do the swap, pretty sure they will they're pretty good about stuff like that and the decks are priced the same

I managed to put together a brick of the originals, cost a retry penny, a few years back and didn't want to bust it up so I am delighted to get these for opening and enjoying.

I already have one so i decided to sleep - it was 6 @ morning here. I did not expect 7$/deck very cheap probably would grab a few.. But now I see it cost 1 deck +16.25$ to ship... 2 decks around +18.50$ 3x ~21.30... Only somehow if i dodge customs for 4 decks would be good.... = ~15$ each total.

Can someone please refresh my memory- what's the difference between these and the older white/gold Monarchs?

The others are silver.

Hi Vasta41,
The difference between these and the first run of white monarchs is the deck seal, and supposedly I few minor tweaks to the cards. But the cards are pretty much the same as the first run.
The silver monarchs were a seperate deck color all together.

Right, that's what I thought. Thanks! I have the v1 so I guess I'll pass on these.

Cool, I only have some silvers and some reds. I'm glad I picked some up now. I was all, why did I buy these? A few minutes after I ordered some.

Impulse buys, sometimes they work out.

A couple of reasons really.
1. Everyone want them, but not all have them.
2. Rare.
3. They are in White/gold/red (for the seal color) and have in title word gold and they look expensive for normal person.
4. After 2 years maybe you could sell them 10x the price or more.
5. They are only 7$

What is the difference exactly on the seal? I have one 1 year ago and same red seal...

I am pretty puzzled about this release, they essentially reprinted what was a contest/promotion only deck to now sell those at a very low price.
If the deck had some major design changes, I would be ok about this. But it does not look to be the case, the only difference is the seal! (Maybe the borders are thinner, but the picture does not really reflect this). We did get a few to resell and to check all this, we have an opened white gold monarchs v1 (signed by Andrei Jikh btw) so we will be able to compare, post some pictures and maybe do a video review
Julien.

I see your point. I am no expert but as long as there is an easy way to tell the difference the V1 should retain it's value. For collectors anyway. It may even increase the value of V1s. Any thoughts?
EDIT: I took a look at my V1 deck and the seal looks the same.

I highly doubt it will increase V1 value and in fact is more likely to make them decline. Is changing seals the new tuck swap? So glad I don't buy from T11, Ellusionist or D$D any more.

So long as the versions are distinguishable, I think it pretty much comes down to the ones who got V1's being upset (or indifferent) and the one's who didn't being happy (or indifferent) to be able to buy them.
E.g. I don't recall Black Ghosts being devalued by their V2's, but many (including myself) were happy to be able to buy a "cheap" version.

I tried to pick up a couple but I got bounced out as I processed my order. I guess I will live without them, right?

I wouldn't get too worried if you missed out on these. We all know T11 printed at least 2500 of these White Gold Monarch reprints, and possibly upwards of 5000 decks. My guess is there will be another release window at some point in the future.

Especially with holidays coming up soon. I'd expect there to be at least a few to be available for purchase with points in the archive.
Side note, really hope they do their spinning wheel prize thing in Dec again this year, got a deck or two and a ton of points last year.

Well, according to this post on FB from last Wednesday:

I wished I had ordered more now. bet they're selling on ebay like crazy. You know someone will be pissed that they paid $40-50 for a deck they could've gotten for around $10 including shipping.
