I don't seem to be getting email notifications for threads I'm subscribed to, although I have had this work previously for a long time.

I do have the setting enabled on the Notification Options page. It's the option "Someone replies to a topic to which you are subscribed".



For instance, I'm subscribed to the thread Bicycle Rookie Playing Cards (Room One x Bicycle) that I posted a day ago.



I'm automatically subscribed to all threads I post or comment in, and I confirmed that I'm subscribed to this one using "Topic Tools".

Under the Manage Notifications setting, it is clear that the replies from people are triggering notifications:



But I'm not getting any email notifications. The same is true of all topics I'm subscribed to. As you can see from the last image, I'm also subscribed to the "52 MUSEE" thread, which has had responses and triggered notifications, but there was no email for that either. And yes, I've checked my spam folder.

Is anyone else getting email notifications for threads you're subscribed to, if you have that option turned on as I do? Or is that not working right now?

I usually rely on that feature, because I only come to United Cardists to visit threads I'm subscribed to that have had activity in them, and occasionally check out new threads. So if I don't get these email notifications, I won't be made aware people may have commented or asked questions about things I've written.

Hmm, I have never worried about that. Every time I open UC, I just go to Quick Links and choose New Posts.

That shows all new posts on the forum. But what if I just check the forum every few days, and only want to see responses to things I've posted or in threads I have commented in or am subscribed to?

That's why I really liked the feature of getting email notifications for posts in threads I was subscribed to. And that feature seems to be broken right now.

Which of our mods would we need to flag this with, so that someone can look into getting it fixed?

Ender, are you seeing *any* e-mails from UC? If not, it is almost certainly a block somewhere between your ISP where you collect your e-mail and UC's ISP from which the e-mail is sent. (There are several spam-blocking lists that can be responsible, as well as changes to spam filter settings, and out-of-date DNS entries, which I've bumped into from time to time elsewhere.)

If you *are* receiving other e-mails from UC, then something much more freaky is in the mix....

I haven't been receiving emails for the last 2-3 times there was a post I was subscribed to either. This happened once before and resolved itself after some time.

I don't think the issue is isolated to one person. Seems tied to the website functionality itself.

Oddly, I just got an email notification about these two replies. But it's the first such email notification I've had for quite some time. Maybe it's working again?

At any rate, I don't think it's an issue between my ISP and UC's ISP, as confirmed by what kevork just wrote. It must be an issue with the forum/website itself.
