Bicycle Rookie Playing Cards (Room One x Bicycle)

This deck is a collaboration between Room One Cards and Bicycle Cards. Here's the ad copy and some pictures:

A clown riding a bicycle behind a door. I know it is 'branding' but it makes about as much sense as a monkey in an elevator playing a piano.

When you look at those tired courts - you can see why Lorenzo touched them up before using them in his standard decks like Ravn

Hmm, the courts are still customized even though they're standard.

How terrifying it would be to get a knock on the door and this joker is waiting for you

Thanks for the feedback! We 100% agree—we can do much better now, and we’ve come a long way in the last 2.5 years.
For us, the Rookie deck was always more of an experimental and commemorative project with USPCC. We actually finished the design around 2.5 years ago, and looking back, it’s a great reminder of how much we’ve improved since then.
The delay between design and printing was full of back-and-forth—sometimes we were too busy, sometimes they were, and there were also a few team handovers on their US and APAC sides along the way.

A clown riding a bicycle behind a door" is basically the playing-card equivalent of a monkey in an elevator playing piano. Absurd, random, and a little unhinged… which is precisely the vibe we were going for at the time

It was our very first attempt at literal Room One branding—clown (classic joker energy) + bicycle (Bicycle collab nod) + door/room (Room One name). We were still figuring out how to make a signature Joker feel instantly "us" without being too serious or predictable.

The clown on the bicycle looks good, it was just the door seemed weird to me but hey Rooms have doors and it is Room One

For "Rookie" deck, that deck is still way more customized than most Bicycle efforts out there. You can see the effort what was put into the deck. I wish USPCC would release more decks with the courts from their extensive archives!

Curious to know the items the courts are holding. Are they related to any of your decks or just random stuff?

Not sure if its a real pattern or not but seeing a lot of bicycle collab type things popping up this week

KWP showed a reprint of their old bicycle legal tender that apparently is about to come out (that they will have the gilded for...later on their own site).
