I love this. JBP has a bunch of stuff he's been working on this year that I've been excited about.

I don't know. This reminds me so much of Lotrek's Fragenta deck. The designs are almost identical.

A blatant rip off....or not.

I can't see how it's a rip off. Jack explains on the Kickstarter where it comes from and it's clearly nothing like Fragmenta which was (in Lotrek's words) " A deck of playing cards designed to look like a miscut! Gold and Silver metallic inks on the face and back sides."

Jacks courts are completely unique and complete different from Lotreks. The back might have some slight similarily but I really don't see how the designs are identical at all.

I don’t know where you are seeing the comparison. I can maybe understand from the fact that it’s different designs put together but Lotrek has his own different works combined where as this is all a new design for Jack. Not only that but the courts are in entirely different leagues of their own. Not only that but JBP’s work is clearly tied to the theme of patternwork designs (like in rugs, textiles etc) where as the Lotrek one is not.

https://www.kardify.com/2025/07/fragmen ... s.html?m=1

Unless your post is satire and I can’t read it through the internet. In which case please disregard.

Not sure where youre getting that from. They look nothing alike. This is one of the more original looking designs I've seen in a long while. Genuinely confused by your perspective.

I love Lotrek but strongly dislike the Fragmenta decks - they do absolutely nothing for me. These on the other hand are beautiful, and remind me nothing of Fragmenta - I really don’t see how you can think of these being influenced by that deck, or being remotely similar, but to each their own.

Sorry, quite satirical of those that keep claiming stuff is a rip off. While there is a very vague patchwork similarity, the styles are vastly, vastly different. Sorry if it shocked folks more than intended.

I saw that picture and maybe it's the angle, but the tuck sleeve (or tuck?) feels really flat. I also hope it maintains its structural integrity with the die cuts. I know My Brother's Keeper had much more intense cuts making the tuck box more fragile.

Either way, I'm looking forward to this campaign.

That edge printing looks great (while you have them in NDO) but I just don't like the faces this time around

I'll analyze this one closely to figure out which pattern(s) I may want and limit myself to those one or two decks.

I'm in for a VIP boxed set (I stumbled through the process, but Jack patiently guided me through the process last night), a pair of Bluebells and Butterflies and the Petite Patternwork set. I messed up on the start time, but got in fine anyway. Backer 88. Sweet!

I’m going the same route as Kevork and getting one of each. Figured that out this morning. I would really love if shipping was cheaper but I get it. Shipping from Japan isn’t easy or cheap.
