Steeped is NOW LIVE on Kickstarter. The samples have arrived and they are looking very vibrant. This deck celebrates the Teas of India.

The deck has vivid Pink Gilt edges and the tuck is embossed on pearlescent paper stock for a luxurious finish.

Does Kickstarter set launch dates/times or do creators have full control over that?

There's been many times where projects start on the same day, more than I would expect to happen statistically. Maybe there's data indicating Tuesdays are a good day for launching a project? I ask because Parlour Royale is expected to launch on August 12th as well.

Creators have full control but there’s a bunch of articles showing the statistically best days, times and months to launch Kickstarters, looking at average backer numbers/funding success. And yes, they all agree that Tuesdays are best, at or around 8AM EST. Months seem to matter less, so long as it’s not December when success rates drop sharply. Not sure if it’s a self-fulfilling thing or if it holds true for all products, but people definitely now cluster around Tuesday launches.

The Steeped decks will be fulfilled by Legends PCC and shipped directly from Asia. There is currently some High Flyers stock in Asia, so we can offer a limited number of decks as add-ons. This will allow buyers to combine postage fees to reduce costs. There is only a limited number of High Flyers decks available, so early backers will be able to take advantage of this.

Project goes live tomorrow at 18:00 GMT

Hello,

Those are some of my standard court designs. I've used them in several deck designs. Mostly in my design work for the Worshipful Company of Makers of Playing Cards. I believe that particular deck was a specialist commission from the Tax Advisors Livery Guild. They requested a deck design that incorporated historic taxable items across the UK. Hence why the courts are all holding various objects such as glass, candlesticks etc. I have a lot of decks from my work with the Livery Company, many that I have not had time to create videos for, a few of which are now in museums. I will hopefully get around to sharing these on my YouTube channel soon. Last year I collaborated to create a deck celebrating the King's Lifeguards which is now in the Horseguards Museum at Buckingham Palace.

You guys knocked it out of the park. These are so refreshing (pun intended). Price isn't too steep either (also intended). Also bagged the High Flyers as an add-on (still intended).

Are those all Pantone spot colors used to print the tuck box? The colors are so intense and vibrant! You can achieve that only with spot inks.

CMYK process printing tends to print those type of bright colors on the drab or dull side.

The yellow plate is Pantone. I'm pleased with how the colours turned out on the tuck.

They've arrived! UK and Europe bundle is now beginning fulfillment from UK.

As I'm sure many are aware there is currently a Canadian postal strike so we will need to update backers regarding this situation.

There is also currently a hold on shipments from Taiwan to the US due to the ongoing tariff situation. We are doing all we can to find a solution, but we cannot guarantee shipment dates for USA and Canada just yet. Apologies for any delay but it is out of our control.

Shipments for the rest of the world will begin soon.

Hello,

It looks like we have a solution to shipping and they are due to begin shipping this week. I've completed EU and UK shipping. I believe Legends will start the ROW and US this week. I will provide an update midweek.

Anyone else receive their Steeped Deck(s)? Maybe I should have ordered more than one. Below are photos of how my single arrived in a flimsy envelope. It had a piece of bubble wrap and a thin sleeve of cardboard, but the deck itself is trashed!! Looks like it would take a lot of work to make the deck damaged like the one I got!

I don't understand what happened! The Sardines deck Kickstarter went so smoothly, and that deck arrived in beautiful condition without shipping delays too.
