T.T Rip me, what did I put myself into, decided to ride on the Room One Collection System
Before you get the chance? something emailed this to me 30min before kickstarter would even reconcile the link in the email?TorresOVER wrote: ↑Fri Apr 04, 2025 11:16 pm First off, thank you all! I have no idea how you guys always manage to start posting about our projects before I even get the chance.
Oh yeah, by any chance, we can pull the circuit out so we can replace batteries in case lights out?TorresOVER wrote: ↑Sat Apr 05, 2025 10:26 am Oh, the mail. I usually post it after a bit I launched. I'll make sure to post it before the next mail time![]()
Great question! To be totally honest—yes, you can pull the circuit out to replace the batteries if the lights go out, but it’s a bit of a mission. You’d need to tear into parts of the tuck, which we don’t really recommend since it could mess up the whole thing. Full disclosure: I’ve never even tried swapping the batteries myself—guess I'm too chicken to risk it! On the bright side (pun intended), those paper-thin batteries are built to last over 300 hours of light time, so we’re pretty sure they’ll keep glowing strong. Hope that clears it uplaitostarr777 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 06, 2025 8:35 pmOh yeah, by any chance, we can pull the circuit out so we can replace batteries in case lights out?TorresOVER wrote: ↑Sat Apr 05, 2025 10:26 am Oh, the mail. Thanks, we will be fixing the light-up problem, After digging deeper, we suspect the issue stems from the magnetron lights being activated by nearby magnets ( Means other Tanuki Yukaku nearby) during storage or shipping. It’s likely that the paper battery vendor, our fulfillment center, our production team or shipping company—possibly all four—stored them without insulator paper, causing the lights to stay on and drain the batteries. We’re still investigating, but rest assured, this is unacceptable for Room One and our backers. Once we pinpoint the cause, we’ll decide on next steps, which may include reprinting all decks with a new tuck box featuring a photoresistor or adding insulator paper to prevent this issue and reship a new one to backers. Whatever it takes, we’ll make it right, and I’ll ensure everything is resolved to your satisfaction.Skywatcher wrote: ↑Fri Jun 20, 2025 4:41 am I have just received my collector's box.
And even though my Yakuku Tales box doesn't light upI'm not too fussed about it, as all the rest is so nice.
All the little details on the tuck boxes and the artwork really works, in all the 3 versions.
It's been a while that I wasn't that happy with a deck (set).
Good job Bloom/Room One!
Looks like you might end up with two decks—lucky you!
They came in today, yeah the battery is dead, but the actual deck, very well done and a pretty fun design.TorresOVER wrote: ↑Mon Jun 23, 2025 2:03 amLooks like you might end up with two decks—lucky you!Seriously, we’re going all out to ensure every Room One supporter gets the absolute best Tanuki Yukaku experience.
