Hello

I'm Joe and I've recently realized that I have a keen interest in playing cards in the past few years. I played a lot of cards with my grandmother when I was a kid. Then in high school I played a lot of cards with my small group of friends. Interestingly, the game my friends and I played was a slight variant of the trick game I played with my grandmother since childhood. This left me with many very good feelings and memories of playing cards. it's kind of a strange feeling but I can't deny I have a keen interest for them.

My holy grail deck of cards that I am ultimately in search of is the SuicideGirls Playing Cards, Rion Vernon, 1st Edition

I never considered myself a card-game fanatic growing up. My family played card games on vacation and my friends and I would play card games for fun. Maybe I'm just needing a new hobby but I also recently developed an interest in playing cards. Only problem is I can't get my kids to be interested in card games and I no longer have friends. Still fun to collect decks though!

Hmm Suicide Girls is your holy grail - if grandma is still alive, I don't think you would be using them with her!
I have always found the claim that the Suicide Girls site receives almost ‘25,000 applications a year’ from new models interested in becoming Suicide Girls a justification/cover for them being a soft porn site

Hello, midnightwanderer (Joe) and mulrich, and welcome to the insanity that is playing card collecting!

You'll find plenty of new (and old, but perhaps new-to-you) decks discussed here, plus a whole lot more. We should probably get a discussion going somewhere here about card games, as well. Like you, Joe, I grew up playing a lot of trick games like Oh, Hell and Hearts and Euchre and the like. Very fond memories for me there.
