The main designer of ARK Playing Cards had been busy...
It's a collection of pencil drawings for the upcoming project of ARK. Judging by all the characters shown... I am guess this is Halloween themed, and maybe the official launch will be around October.

Never thought of Siren or Medusa as Halloween-related but looking forward to seeing what they come up with, even if I will likely pass on them.

Playing cards are ironically a limiting medium for their artists.

Those drawings look VERY interesting

This is probably not the next one to be released, this one is still in the process of being created. The next work should be related to childhood，Today, lunzi put a sky blue solid color picture in the ark group to let everyone guess the content of the next one

cue the "is this AI or are they faking it" discussion when the campaign starts.

I dunno about this one either but I do appreciate the detail they are putting into it.

From a far I always figured Halloween was just a creepy monster theme custome party (for what Medusa and Sirens would qualify) that nowadays has turned into your regular custome party.

Coincidentally, I'm in Salem, MA as we speak and I can assure you, even in July, there are many more themes than just monsters on Halloween.

Ark's prices leave so much to be desired. I'll likely pass on this project but I hope I'm pleasantly surprised.

Bumping this thread as there are more teasers for the upcoming ARK's project. Unfortunately, this one didn't make it this year and got replaced with Kite Playing Cards - which definitely dissapointing considering it is October the spooky month. Nevertheless, here are the teasers coming from the illustrator:
One of the courts for this project - a Harpy, half-human half-bird. Looks like everyone in the Courts will be in metal cages. Brr... I don't like the sound of where this is going...

The back design for this project - it looks like a few of the elements are borrowed from the other projects: like the ornate ankh from Ankh Playing Cards and the ornate cross from Halidom Playing Cards. Judging from the skulls and weaponries meticulously arranged - I am guessing... this is the theme of a supernatural hunter/researcher.
TMI: observing how the artist work, he started with geometry shapes first before he began to draw elements based on the shapes and so one. Definitely reminds me of

They COULD have provided prints of either Courts, or the Back Design, or the Tuck Box... quite missed opportunities.
Although, they give out small A5 prints for whoever get the sets since Halidom & Devildom - if that counts as "offer prints".

as. long as they don't do what they have done in the past and rub some mud on that art, that looks like a pretty good deck.

pretty dark/moody though for ARKs usual stuff.

More reveals of the Courts, in pencil sketches. And, AAAH YESSSH, there he is: The Werewolf, and it's beastly, and more to a wolf~
Also like the Mummy too: guarded by Anubis and Horus (and the fact that the back design is a tiny borrowed from Ankh Playing Cards).

Another additional teaser: these are showing the border for the faces, as well as the customized pips

This might be the first ARK deck I have backed for a while. Looks similar in style to Halidom/Devildom.

Apparently they've redefined their mystery finish. From Ark's FB group: "we replaced standard linen with a thematic debossed pattern"

I'll probably end up sitting this one out but I'm still curious to see more

Why does every Ace have that ugly banner saying "Horror Night Playing Cards." I suppose that's the name of the deck, but it's quite a poor design choice.

I kinda dig that banner. I don't know about it covering what's behind it, but by itself it looks good.

I like how ARK always try to bring something unique for each of their project: i.e Ankh with its Pyramid transformation case and the pyramid tiered wooden box and Atlantis with its palace pop-up case.

The only thing I dislike from them is them locking the Luxury Black Edition behind the “All In” option.

I used to dislike them, when their old projects demanding the Standard Editions to be obtained “forcefully along with setbox”
