Looks to be using the foil used on the Book of Nightmares for the Incubo campaign.

Eva Black Rose box is printed by Boschiero&Newton on Italian Soft Touch paper, with a layer of black holographic foil yes from the patreon they also printed the book.

I guess since it got posted I can fill in a few blanks, should be on publicly sale next week as part of the Black Friday sale and it looks like will go away after Black Friday.

Its a preorder and there will be 600 or less depending how many get messed up during the production process.

37 available at time of posting, I would expect probably *1* more group to be released, Patrons bought... a large quantity last week.

It was 28€ for a second and I contemplated buying the deck at that price, but at 39€, I'm finding it hard to justify.

It's difficult for me to appreciate gilding when it already has that "sloughed off" look right out of the box, and black gilding is a horrible offender when paired with white stock. This coupled with the Celeste/Splendida debacle, and not having white rose perhaps contributes to my decision.

I do have to say, employing cognitive dissonance to try to justify not getting the deck can be quite pessimistic, but I think I'll be okay.

I think cognitive dissonance is the best way to deal with this form of addiction. It can be extreme, but occasionally effective...until the effects wear off and others get the deck, which looks stunning.

Maybe i regret them now that its an existing deck turned gilded black XD

I ordered one but then cancelled as, while I love the designs, I'm not a fan of the colours used on the cards.

yeah... the black with yellow on the cards isnt a great fit. i wish there were some foil on the cards, but the price after using the eternal discount is pretty great for a gio deck. i was on the fence but ended up getting one to go with all the other evas i have.

359$ for that bundle is way too high. Maybe there will be some out there that are able to further that along but not me.

He would have a lot less of my money if I did for sure.

I didnt buy that box either(and I think I would have chosen a few different decks than some of the cheaper ones on that list), but I do have pretty much all those decks already.

I would look in the secondary market for those decks after seeing that price.

well if you have none of them (and you want them of course) that box is actually about as good as you're going to get, a $30 average. Most of those are his $45 decks with some of the more special ones with intentionally high listed prices so that they only become feasible in special packages and days (and he also included a couple of the cheaper decks). No sane person pays $500 or even $250 for a Monolith Sagittarius

individually yes you can pick up some occasionally from a third party seller, and I have, but even in that case I've ended up paying more than some people here would for some of the rarer ones.

I've done ok with "mystery" boxes too but I think Ive reached the point of diminishing returns for getting non-duplicates that way.

I guess it could always be worse but 392$ usd is a lot for a brick. I would change out a few, like the Animas and the Tomb.

when i first started collecting 5+ years ago, any cards that had a non white background were very cool to me. i am guessing because i had only seen the white before. as i journeyed more down the card collecting road, non white backgrounds lost their luster.

i still like decks like hybris and the eva decks i would just prefer white backgrounds overall.
