Interesting features but overall not an artstyle to my liking.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the art and will be passing on this one.

I ALMOST like the art approach on the courts quite a bit, but something doesn't quite gel. It is a shame because I think the designer was onto something but stopped short.

Did anyone participate in the KS 3rd instalment of The Secret Tale - 'Ragnar Lodbrok' which was only fulfilled in October

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/du ... escription

Update 10 showing a pic of how Jannieke found her decks in the deserted Deallez warehouse is mind boggling :ugthink:

Anyway, I missed this campaign but you can guess that the HB is very tempted and although I have only ever bought two box sets in the past, the Wooden Bee Box may be hard to resist on the Dutch Card House website.
If however I show some control, it is probably just the orange gilded white deck that really grabs me

The back design is great and the gild color goes really well. Hoping the courts and number cards aren't standard but even then maybe....

That is crazy! What an awesome effort by her to get most of her items. I wonder what other stuff is still in there that belongs to someone!

Much respect for them going that far to make sure they got everything delivered. It really sucks how many people that were formerly well respected have completed dipped on their responsibilities in the last year.

I think honeybee understands what it means. Perhaps he can explain it to you.

In the meantime give some thought as to why the comment “Did you follow the link? The courts are anything but standard” could not have simply received the reply “cool, thanks” in some small attempt to end nit picking bickering that I have been quietly waiting to run its course and peter out.

Looks like maybe you or your husband/wife grating cheese. You saying I'm cheesy or grating cheese is a phrase idk. Please consider when attitude presents itself then it can be met with kindness or attitude back. Also consider simply not escalating things as you do with me, considering you are to be an unbiased moderator... for some reason. You are many things maybe but quiet isn't one of them.

I swear recently all the feeds have been crammed with these back and forth remarks. can we please not clutter the threads picking fights with each other 👍

I decide if I am to be unbiased - and how much I can tolerate. We are all allowed to express ourselves and I decided to express that I found such comment “grating”.

The other day we lost another long time user due to the bicker on the site - and I have found it irksome.

You went fishing for a moderator to “treat you unfairly” yesterday and got me wrapped up in it - I was otherwise strolling through my day just fine without such interruption. You wake a sleeping dog, you deal with the consequence.

Perhaps you and honeybee figure out how to play nice with each other without my need to drop subtle hints.

I could spend quite a bit of time debating who started what and who should drop what sword - but frankly I find it as annoying as a pair of children fighting in the back seat - I don’t care who started it, and I don’t care to be endlessly calm in handling it.

Put the nonsense to bed - figure out how to stop poking and prodding each other - and then you will find me not having to comment about it.

whatwillitbenow’s comment drives my point home - this nonsense is bad for the forum - find a way to quit it, I assume you can manage it without my assistance.

Not a big deal for me. Tell your friends to calm down. If everytime I say something and the bee or whoever has a problem then it is what it is. Peace.
Not fishing for you buddy. It was about calling out Harvonsgard for the trash comment. You injected yourself needlessly. You write that extensive response here for what? Is that cheese picture an insult?

No need for that mate. I'm well aware. If I step over a line we have more than competent mods and admins to tell me how to behave. ✌️

I am sorry people. We have excellent moderators on here and this was clearly a trap/fishing for them - Jazz said as much on the other thread as this snip shows. He was not calling out harvs (you would do that on that thread if you were) he was 'checking something' see below

I really, really, will attempt to ignore Jazz but what is going on here was not our spat - this was something else
I love this forum and would not want to be party to anybody leaving. I was attacked in a pm but I am not leaving. If anybody feels the need to put me on ignore/foe please do so But dialogue with Jazz has been a tiny percentage of my posts - a percentage that I am attempting to make zero

I am not going to invest the time required to make things any clearer than I have made them.

I am also not kidding when I say that there will be an end to driving away creators and users due to lack of courtesy.

I do like the back design of the Ragnar Lodbrok version, but the art on the cards doesn't grab me.

I know our Honeybee is a backs man, so perhaps a sale may entice him.

Can one just fly down to berlin, go to the warehouse and you know... perform some magic fingers on the abandoned decks?

I bow to your wisdom kev
I am fairly tempted by the back but I can't really come at the courts

Of course I have multiples of ALL Randy's Honeybees
To which I have added the Ellusionist Bumble Bee deck (for Tuck, Back and AoS only)
plus yesterday I won an auction for a second set of all 4 Hive decks - very happy with $69us although I looked like getting them for $49 until the last 5 seconds of a 7 day auction. With no popcorn bidding that sneaky critter would have beaten me if I had not entered a maximum bid
:D

I was wondering if it ever crossed Gio's mind to do the same thing for his decks which were stuck at Deallez. 20 bricks is not alot, but not small either considering some were his rare decks.

Gotta admire her dedication to getting the decks back instead of just writing them off and pretending nothing happened like so many abandoned KS projects.

If someone is in Berlin and want to assist, I am interested and probably willing to gift 50% of what's left in Deallez warehouse. Contact me at giovanni@thirdway.it for this.
I tried to get these decks for months, calling the owner of the warehouse, but the only option looks like go physically there and I don't have time to do that, so I was considering these "lost"...

Honestly, more than the value itself (which is relevant, but not huge) I am more disappointed by the unpfrofessionalism of Deallez and the thought of my decks were "abandoned" in a warehouse without a real reason :x
