673 backers on day one and not one single comment. Creepy.

There is already a deck(s) with this name designed by Lance Miller:
viewtopic.php?p=74733 So I don't like this simply because of my own confusion.

I also also thought immediately of the
At The Table Live Lecture series for magicians.
Based on the name I also assumed it was just another tribute deck for that, much like the Lance Miller one. But no, surprise surprise, this is about ACTUAL tables!

Backed so I can leave a comment to ask about the tucks and see how responsive she's going to be. It's going to a major red flag if there's no response. Expensive for the price, but she's a rookie for playin cards and the artwork is really nice. Don't see decks like these so it'll be a real shame if it's not legit.

Well, turns out she's very active on IG @arynlei with 46k followers. Her updates are on IG instead while the KS is just to fund the cards for her followers and subscribers. Interestingly, the cards are not all finished yet as she's taking story submissions for each card and will draw your story on your chosen card if the story is selected. So interested people can try for that!
She's established as an artist, so this looks legit and explains the fast funding as she's got a big enough following, along with some experience from printing her art and running her online store. Still, that's not cheap for 1 deck at $20 plus shipping!

Even less cheap for the ART deck version ( foiled, embossed tuck, metallic ink on card backs), which is an eye opening $50 plus shipping.....and it's not gilded. Still no pics of the tucks, though apparently she has Covid right now, so that would explain the lack of updates so far.

This campaign is so odd. Still no updates, even on her Instagram. Still no tuck to show and judging from her last post on insta, one hasn't even started being designed yet. No comments on the campaign page until about 5 days ago when suddenly 40 plus got posted within hours of each other. Just...odd.

Oddest thing about that campaign for me is still the deck design itself. Not even close to intreguing me.

Did the jokers go out of frame for a break? Honestly, this is great if you lose a card and want to create a replacement.

For those who missed this, Aryn Lei is having a sale to fund her residency in France. 20% off everything
here. That will bring the $ quite close to the Kickstarter price of $20.
Code FRANCE is live for through May 5. In addition to 20% off anything in store, users of code FRANCE will get two never-released stickers and a hand written thank you note for helping make this dream of mine come true. Again, orders placed in the next week will ship Monday May 6.

Ooooh, thanks for the tip! Scooped up yet another deck I missed because I've been late to the party!
