Absolutely, completely, 100% agree.

Whereas, borderless Honeybees are awesome.

This is the first time in years that the borderless Black & Yellow are available, and the first time EVER that they're Bicycle-branded.

Fun fact, Randy & I originally mocked up and pitched the Bicycle version to USPCC in late 2017!! At the time, they did not want to print anything Bee-related under the Bicycle banner.

Fast forward a few years and they've changed that policy. So we've been waiting for these for a looonnnggg time!!

As for preference towards bordered or borderless, it seems to be pretty evenly split. I prefer the borderless myself. When we released the V1 back in 2015 & 2016, we had a lot of magicians requesting a version with white borders, which we did with the V2 in 2017.

Black & Yellow have been off the market for a few years now, so we thought it was high time to bring them back!!

Decks look great and that price is hard to beat

I loved the V2s, and am glad that the borderless decks have been brought back. These look fantastic (again)!

Once again they're available in both yellow and grey.

I love how the yellow depicts the honeycomb filled with honey while the black are just empty combs. Nice attention to detail!

It's a great opportunity for folks like me who live outside the US, especially because they have quite a good selection of custom playing cards.

Had to treat myself with 4 decks of the yellow version. One of the decks where I find the Bicycle branding actually adding something to the tuckbox.

That, too. Especially since they're on premium (Bee) stock.
Jokes aside, I meant simply aesthetically.
It's one of the rare cases I prefer the branded over the unbranded version.

Here's a funny tidbit that's never been shared publicly - it's a UC exclusive!

The original intent for these was to be a "Honey Bee" deck, as in Bee branded. At the point where we were putting the design together I had run custom Bikes, Tally-Ho, Arrco, and Aladdin brands, but no Bees, so I wanted to check that off the list.

As luck should have it, just prior to submitting the art USPCC had changed their policies to only allow Bees for use in Casino division, no more Custom division. So we changed it to just "Honeybee". I actually prefer them as they turned out, so it all worked out in the end. But that's a little peek into the history and behind-the-scenes development of the OG 2015 decks!

It was the White Aladdins that we did at Blue Crown. I think in 2013?

Pretty happy with these . Best Honeybees by far.
Now Penguin just has to open a casino named "Honey" so that I can add that nice Honey Bee deck, too.

Next version of Honeybees will be released in about a month. They will not be Bicycle branded. Will probably start a new thread for them when we get closer to release.
