Meh. I joined for the USPCC guy interview, he talked about his life and the old factory. I wanted to know what he's doing to improve their notorious registration issues, but he took like 4 softball questions and that was it. Waste of time.

The deck reveals are online anyway. Not really missing much.

That is the only one I've missed so far, but apart from people showcasing vintage collections, (which I'm not interested in at all) everything has been really cool. The deck launch event was great, and both talks today with Patrick Varnavas and Lance Miller was awesome. But the best part is being able to talk to people from here and elsewhere in the community, getting faces to go with names and just having a good time

The 52+Joker 2020 Convention was virtual, and it was recorded. And now, it's available for your reviewing pleasure. You can access most of the captures even if you are not a member, although a couple of them are behind the members-only wall.

I have to say, it really was a blast to participate, and I very much look forward to catching up on the presentations I missed during the live event. Check it out!

BTW, the 2021 convention is planned for Niagara Falls, NY, and it wouldn't surprise me if there is a virtual component for those who are unable to attend in person. I know that several of of your UC friends are currently planning to be there in person if we can (myself included), as well as some of your favorite playing card designers, manufacturers, and distributors. If you think you might be interested in going, check out these clips to get an idea of what goes on.

PS: I'm making this a global announcement for a few days to help get the word out.

Definitely worth watching. Due to time zone differences I couldn't be around live that much therefore it's awesome to be able to rewatch the missed presentations and interviews.

I really enjoyed the after-hours Zoom chats. That was entertaining and I had a great time.

Looking forward to doing that in person this year, but again, it wouldn't surprise me if there's an opportunity to do something like that online again this year.

What are the details of this year's convention? Or did I already miss it

They held a virtual meeting on Saturday, but I wasn't able to attend. I think you can view it as well if you missed it. They are working on a convention in the Spring and get back on schedule with next year's regular convention again in October.

Has anyone actually received their club deck? I noticed that PlayingCardDecks.com announced (and instantly sold out of) them at $99 yesterday, and the item page said nothing about it being a pre-order.

Not I. They shipped mine using DHL/USPS and it says I won't get it until next Saturday even though it shipped earlier this week. Hopefully it will be here sooner than that.

Mine is scheduled to arrive this coming Wednesday.

FWIW, mine just arrived yesterday (Saturday, Nov. 6th in the greater Seattle, WA, USA region).

I haven't opened mine yet; they seem to be slightly sloppily assembled, so I may open the one that has the sloppiest assembly even though that one has a nice round number (950 out of 999).

FWIW, I had ordered a couple for me and a couple for BadPete, and they arrive sequentially numbered, which was a nice touch. And, while I know a lot of people love to get the lower numbers, my preference is for the higher numbers, so I'm happy with mine... esp. since my numbers imply I was near the last to actually get the order locked down.

I got an order acknowledgment email yesterday, so hopefully today they’ll send me a shipment notification and tracking number. I noticed one of the club decks was posted on EBay Saturday, but at $150 it’s just accumulating watchers.

Folks, Do we know who is designing the 2022 club deck? Do the club leadership share this? Maybe it is shared later in the year?
